Best value for 1440p/Freesync/IPS
Pros:- High quality IPS screen- Freesync works wonderfully (noticable starting at ~36hz for me personally)- No blacklight bleed, at least not noticeable- Lightweight- Speakers are loud enough- Comes with a remote, menus are easy to navigateCons:- Came with two dead pixels. Not much of a nuisance but it is somewhat disappointing. Fortunately it's not very noticeable, they only stand out during a black image.- Ghosting is somewhat noticeable. But it's not that bad and I forgot about it after a while.- Bezel is thicker than I would like but it's not awful. Logo is a little too cute looking for me but overall I don't really care.Bought this as a gaming monitor and while it's not perfect it's still pretty darn good. Games look awesome in 1440p. R9 390 can do 60fps/high (not ultra) on most games, and any dip in frame rate is taken care of by Freesync. Sometimes I'll be playing at 45-50fps and think it's 60. Beautiful.The two dead pixels are a bit of a bummer but not bad enough for me to return the monitor. I doubt i'll notice them 90% of the time. The other main gripe I have is the ghosting, which is actually not too bad but coming from a 1ms monitor it definitely takes some getting used to. I had a problem with it at first but after a few hours I completely forgot about it. I will say it's probably not the best monitor for games like CS GO.I would definitely recommend the monitor. It's a good compromise if you don't want to drop over $600 for a 1440p Freesync IPS monitor.(Remember to turn on Freesync in the monitor menu AND in AMD Radeon Settings!)
