Well, You Do Learn Something Every Day
This is the first book I have ever read on credit bureaux and credit repair, which is a sad admission given I have a background in finance and accounting but I guess Ive never had cause to before. And this book was a real eye opener for me.Sure there'll be some people who know all about how the finance industry works but for others like me who find the whole industry a mystery I recommend this book. The author writes well; you can tell he knows his subject and if you need to know more about how credit ratings work, for example, then the 100 ways to improve your credit score will bring you up to speed.Let's face it, the world economy is still teetering on the brink of disaster and money is not going away any time soon. Dont wait until you need this book; grab a copy now and avoid your own personal financial disaster.Rosemary[...]

Good
After reading this book, I felt that it was helpful in many ways. The biggest part of this book was the 100 ways to improve your credit score. Each tip had detail information on how to improve your credit score, reduce your debt and stay out of debt. Pretty good book. Mark, author of Hidden Credit Repair Secrets.

In Depth and Helpful - Must Read for Credit Issues
The Credit Repair Black Book is well-written and easy to understand, while providing great explainations of how the credit bureaus work and how to fix past credit issues. At the same time, Mr. Kennedy shares a ton of tip on how to avoid future issues and how to re-build your credit scores quickly. Overall, this book should be a must read for anyone who has had some credit problems or thinks they are about to have them (as it would have been nice to have this info before getting in too deep with the issue I had).

Credit, yes! Credit "Repair"?...
This book is a decent credit book but an inadequate credit "repair" book.Pros: It's written in an easy to understand style. The best chapter may be the one on reading your credit report. Solid information on the credit landscape as a whole. It's a great jumping off point for people who know little to nothing about credit, especially at the kindle price.Cons: It is not for people who are in real deep trouble. It speaks nothing about statue of limitations, or forms to write creditors or the bureaus. The chapter of tips is also a little repetitive. The only real advice it gives is to go to a reputable credit lawyer.Overall it wasn't what I was looking for, and what many people in hot water would be looking for, but again it's a solid book to use for reference and for getting your feet wet.

Very Good. Very Helpful Credit Book
I've read a few books on credit reporting/ credit repair, and this easily one of the best I found. It has tons of detail on both fixing bad credit and staying on the good side of the credit bureaus. I liked the tips on quickly raising my scores. I thought the author did a great job explaining every process in a way that was clear and easy to understand. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand their credit situation and how to improve it.

Not that much secrets ! north worth the money
The author repeats several times throughout the book same techniques. It is like same 50 pages written 3 times.some of advices mentioned in the book to consider bankruptcy, sell your stuff on ebay , save money, or get a second job!so where the is the secret that credit bureau won't tell me ?or another advice, find a good lawyer to help you- so why I am reading the book then ?!did not like the content of this book , some of advice is obvious - like do not open too many credit cards, or pay your bills in time.there are better books out there on this subject ! don't waist your time.

Exactly What I Needed
I bought this book after reading this author's excellent book on home buying. I have not had much of an understanding of how credit scores work or how to best protect my credit profile. This book does an excellent job at explaining the whole situation. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know what is really going on with their credit scores and how to repair bad credit or keep their excellent credit. This book is comprehensive, well-written and easy to read.
