Keeps my bird food nice and fresh. Measures the perfect amount every time. I really enjoy how strong the lid is as well. This is not glass, it is a thick plastic. The handle makes life a lot easier to pick up.

Bought this to storage my cats prescription diet food. So far I like the container and it does appear to be air tight. My only disappointment is the measuring cup that comes as a lid is only 3/4's of a cup. I need a one cup measuring cup for the food. So I have to still have 2 items; 1 for the food and 1 measuring cup. I was hoping to cut down the second measuring cup.

We needed an airtight container to store our opened breakfast cereal. It was an ongoing problem; we kept the original bag of cereal in the original box. More often than not, a few buds of cereal would fall back into the box instead of falling back into the bag. (It had to have been my husband; I would never let that happen!) Of course, I would always be the one to empty the bag and since we recycle, separating the plastic from the box. I would find stale chewy buds in the bottom and as grose as it sounds, I ate the stale buds. I had enough of it. We required an airtight container to maintain the cereal's freshness and crunchiness, and to hold an entire box of cereal. I put my husband to the task and he found Viretec Rice Airtight Storage Container. It is perfect, AWESOME, and best of all my cereal is fresh and crunchy. We could not have designed a better storage container. It holds all of my 22 ounces, and much more, plus it is 9 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide and 6" deep. The opening has a removable measuring cup that with a twist makes the container airtight. Although the measuring cup is a universal 180ml Cup (1 Cup=180ml). It's not a special US Cup of 250ml. Do not use it as a US 250ml Cup. Since I'm a Georgia Girl, I can certainly adapt. Last but not least, the Ergonomic handle with a perfect groove design which meets your one hand operation requirement. Oh, I forgot it has 4 Side-Locking Lids and a Portable handle. It is Awesome, Wonderful, and we love this product.

It's more practical than a floppy open bag of rice and it stores well. It's easier to pour the rice out into the right portions.I don't like that the twist-to-lock "measuring cup" style lid is the only way to seal the top. Its just a plastic cup but if we lose it or it breaks, the whole container is no longer as useful.

Functionality:Works great as a dog food dispenser!

I've only had them for a week or so, so can't speak to long term durability. I like the size and the handle on top for carrying, and really appreciate having a built in measuring cup. The lid locks on tightly to keep the product inside fresh.
