North Shore Commercial Door NSCD-390OV1 Overhead Door Compatible Remote

Easiest-to-set-up garage door opener I've ever seen!! It even comes with a battery! The opener works like a charm(and costs about $60 less than my friendly local garage-gadget vendor's product!).

I have a Model 555 Overhead Door garage door and this remote works perfectly with it. BUT....the instructions for programming it didn't work AT ALL with my model door opener. That's why I give it only 4 Stars. The instructions are for a "pin type" unit with a number of pins to set in the back of the main unit. My Model 555 does not have the pins, but instead has 3 buttons in the rear of the unit. I had to make my best guess about which button to push to sync the remote to the main unit. I did get it working and it works great. The North Shore company certainly needs to have the right instructions for both the pin-type unit and the button-type unit. But I do love the remote, and it's about 1/3 the price of a similar remote from the Overhead Door company. Excellent value.....just needs far better instructions for programming!

Would have given 5 stars but they show in the photos and state in the description that it uses a 9 volt battery. Mine came with a C2032 battery which is a button type battery. Thought the 9 volt would be better for longevity and power. It does work fine with my Overhead door opener model 556.

Fantastic!Well made and easy to program - much cheaper than the OEM replacement and I actually like it much better.Uses a C2032 battery which is easier to come by than the battery in the OEM.
