Adjustable Battery Hold Down,Universal Crossbar with 18-8 (304) Stainless Steel J Bolt Sets (9 inch Bolts)

I bought for use on Monterro sport 2000. Works well to hold down battery. The one hook is thicker than the other hook but the right aize washers and nuts are included. Used the 10” but had to cut one down since my case the hooks go in different locations at different heights. I do wish it had a cross bar to lock it from sliding front to back versus relying on tightness of the bracket. Wish the whole unit was stainless steel and not just the hooks.

The adjustable battery hold down works great because my battery is very narrow and a standard hold down does not work. Sturdy and well made I recommend it.

Good fit for my H7 battery. Regular hold downs put the pressure in the wrong place.

Seems to be working fine. I bought these to replace the last ones that weren’t very corrosion resistant. The hold down bolts are one size thinner than I expected but still able to hold a size 24 battery stable. Kit includes wing nuts or hex nuts. The hex actually work better IMHO.

This product came the next day, was relatively affordable, and took minutes to install on my 91 f150. The only tool I used was my cordless angle grinder to shorten the threaded hook. The hooks conveniently fit in holes that already existed in the battery tray. The quality seems good enough. I sprayed the whole thing in wd40 silicone spray to hopefull reduce rusting.Easy, cheap.

It came on time, and came exactly as it does in the photos. I have an 07 honda accord ex and the clip part does not fit the battery perfectly!!! However, it does keep the battery in place and it doesn’t shake around. I was nervous putting the clip part in that holds the battery because it didn’t seem sturdy, but it does work. The pins did not fit with the hood closed so i had to redneck it a little bit and cut them down. It’s been in tack for a couple of months now and hasn’t budged. It’s more of something you’d get for a quick thing as i did with the thought of getting a better one later when you have the money!!!

Likes = price, looks. Dislikes = hold down bolts to small even though the photos show the same battery I’m using I am concerned the bolts will be a problem. I need to say that I’m trying hold the battery down in drag race 1997 Sonoma and the battery is in the bed.
