Great roomba, not quiet but it does the job
Not the quietest vacuum, but does a great job at cleaning. Does well with multiple surface types. Quick and easy to setup. Maps well and is easy to operate. Multiple suction types which accounts for some of the noise. Max suction obvious loudest, but really cleans the floor.

I replaced my house cleaner
I am so happy with this purchase! For the price I typically pay to have my home cleaned I can pay this in two months. I typically pay 120-130 biweekly for a cleaner to come in because of the 3k sq feet we have in our house and for me alone that is a lot of flooring to cover. I figured I would rather pay for this item to do it for me and stop paying housecleaners. There is a downside of the mopping that you can not use cleaner directly but with dogs just the cloth wiping down helps cut down on dirt a ton. The vacuum does a great job of picking up and we could tell the difference fast. I like that there is multiple levels of suctions, also for mopping you can choose the amount of water to use. The app is easy to use as well. I was super impressed by the app and it gives you real time status of what parts of floor is cleaned. I love the easy spot or zone cleaning directive on app as well. The noise level is a little loud compared to the shark robot vacuum I previously had but as long as it leaves my floors clean, I don't mind. The battery does take a bit to charge and then according to what suction you use the battery is used a little faster. Overnight it charges fine but if I use the turbo suction I notice battery dies faster.

If you’re on the fence, just buy it! So awesome!
I had a roomba 10 years ago and it was aweful. I knew the technology has advanced a lot since then so I decided to try the Roborock. I am so glad I did!! This thing is amazing! I no longer have to vacuum or mop! If you can afford to get a more expensive version I would definitely go for it. I personally am on a tight budget so I got this one and it has been great! If ever I get a chance I would buy the one that empties itself. My dog has a lot of hair so I need to empty it after every use. The battery life is great, it gets up all my dogs hair, and the app is easy to use.

A great robot vacuum...with some quirks.
Bought this to replace our S4 Max, because we wanted a model with auto-empty since we have a cat and a dog and the S4 needed constant emptying. Overall...the Q8 Max+ is great, we're mostly happy with it. It seems like it mapped out the house a little better than the S4, probably better LIDAR? You can customize the suction power of the auto-empty which is nice. Can't speak to the mopping because we don't use it, but it apparently just sprays water on the floor and wipes it up with the drag-behind mop attachment...so it's very basic, but we didn't buy it for that and didn't install the mop pad. So far, we only have a few minor complaints/concerns, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.1. The auto-empty feature isn't perfect. If you have animals that shed, you'll probably find that you can't run the whole house or floor of a house in one go because the on-board dust bin will get so full that the auto-empty can't pull it out. There also doesn't appear to be a way to get it to self-empty between rooms. You can avoid this by doing 1-2 rooms at a time, either manually or via schedule, and when it returns to dock it'll auto-empty. I really hope they update the app/firmware to where you can tell it to do the whole house/floor, and simply tick a box to make it auto-empty between each room...that would be an amazing feature. Seriously Roborock, add that feature.2. A few days ago we had it do the livingroom. Towards the end, it was over by the front door and decided to just do laps in a little 4 sq ft area over and over again...it wasn't physically stuck, it just seemingly caught itself in some sort of loop. It has done this room a dozen times before with no issues, and nothing was changed or moved that would have confused the vac. Had to go in the app and send it to dock, I'm sure the button on the vac would have worked too, and it returned as if nothing was wrong and has worked fine several times since then. Hoping that's not a sign of things to come, considering this vac is only a month old.3. We've only had it a month, but it doesn't seem like it treats maintenance/reminders the same as the S4. On the S4, it would tell us when it was time to clean the vac, wheels, sensors, roller, etc. On this one, it hasn't done that yet, and the maintenance section of the app just gives you the remaining lifetime of the replaceable parts...the time until they need to be replaced. To be clear, you absolutely must wipe off the sensors, pull and clean the rollers, wash out the dust bin and filter, and remove/clean/reinstall the corner brush regularly on these vacs. Maybe we just haven't run it enough for the app to tell us to do those things, but if that's the case, it should have started warning us by now because the rollers and dustbin/filter definitely needed cleaning.

Wish I’d bought this sooner!!
Love this thing! We have a dog that sheds like CRAZY (we have to vacuum at least once a day) so thought this would be a way to help minimize the amount of vacuuming we had to do. Happy to say, the hair is completely under control and the dust bag isn’t close to full. So nice to to have to vacuum every day anymore! The initial set up was pretty easy although to set up zones, etc I did watch a YouTube video as that was a bit confusing (for me anyway) to figure out. But out of the box it did an initial mapping, which at first I thought it missed most of the room, but the first actual scheduled cleaning it covered the entire area perfectly. And it detected the stairs just fine and automatically set up its own no-go zone.We have mostly wood floors with a couple areas rugs and it goes from surface to surface just fine. It does sometimes get a little tangled in a shaggy doormat but even if I forget to pick the mat up, it untangles itself just fine. Noise level is more or less like a vacuum, and it’s a bit louder when it empties itself but that lasts about 10 seconds so no big deal.So far, worth every penny.
