Good for you alternative to chocolate.

Good Carob powder for a good price
This product must be assessed against other carob powders, not chocolate. Carob vs Chocolate is another discussion. We like carob. We also like chocolate. They are not the same. By nature, Chocolate is bitter tasting & disliked by most people. Unhealthy additives like fatty cream & sugars must be added to make chocolate tasty. Carob is significantly less tart but most people want sugar & fatty substances added to it. Even then, many people dislike carob. We like carob as a beverage & for candies. As carob lovers, we find this carob product quite good & think it healthy. In addition, the price is lower than most others.

Great taste!! Dissolves quickly
I read most of the reviews and decided to give it a try. When you can’t have chocolate it’s nice to know there are alternatives! This carob powder is great. I use my instant hot water (dissolved very quickly) added Oatmilk creamer with vanilla, stirred it with a frother (from Amazon) and zapped it in the microwave for thirty seconds and voila it’s my version of the best cocoa around!

Product is not safe per State of CA: contains: acrylamide
It may expose consumers to a known cancer causing chemical and should not be posted for sale as if safe and be non returnable when arrives with label on back not seen until first bag opened. Why buy products that are unsafe when safe Organic versions are available such as Anthony's?! Put it on good price to get people to switch brands with no warning why cheaper??? Bad business model. As low income senior I cannot trust Amazon so will use even less than almost never going forward. Not just because of this product but also price gouging on others. i.e. Boric Acid powder by HUMCO: normal price in Pharmacy or Walmart for 6 oz is about $15, latest price on Amazon $49 - SERIOUSLY WRONG!
