Old one came off, this one slid right on. Easy peasy. If you think you can save $12 and not buy the special tool to get the retaining nut off, think again. You need the tool. You'll have to put a screwdriver in the spark plug hole to stop the cylinder and if you have an air ratchet that will make a huge difference. If you don't have one, I hope you have big muscles. You're gonna need 'em. The quad now starts. Feels to be a decent quality part. Would buy again.

Arrived very fast. Install was pretty straightforward. Packaging was excellent. I've had really good luck with Glixal products so far. Those was perfect for my slightly modded GY6 buggy. It's a bit beefier than the factory unit that blew. Its only been a few days so I guess time will tell on the durability.

Ive only had it installed a few days now but is a lot quieter than stock that blew to peices after 200 miles on brand new engine! Definitely better built and design over stock!

For the past 6 years I thought the problem was the starters and turned out to be this. Since it's been installed, starts up without any problems and works every time. It is nice to know the engine is going to start when you turn the key. Price was good and time will tell on durability, so far only a few months of usage. I would recommend to a friend.
