I have thinning naturally brown curly hair that was always breaking and super frizzy regardless of whatever I threw at it. Tried every oil, a thousand different conditoners and masks, things like Nioxin, and nothing ever worked.Knew about Olaplex but assumed it was only something you mix into hair dye. Was planning on dying my hair for the first time ever, so did some research and it turns out that's only available to salons, but there is a version that can be used anytime and bought by consumers - this product.Used it on freshly cleansed hair, left on for 30mins and it fixed 95% of my problem with frizz and breakage, even with my bed hair. Went on to actually dye my hair (using this the night before and a few days after dyeing) and had no noticable hair damage.The only issue I have is that it does not turn into a lather. I tried on towl dried damp hair as instructed as well as hair that was practically dunked in water and it still didn't lather either time. This made it hard to tell if I was using too much or if it was applied evenly.It's also arguably quite expensive, but I haven't had to use it reguarly as part of a routine, so it goes for a long time. I would say the bottle gets 4-5 uses out of my medium-length hair.

Seems to be the real deal. Mine was sealed and isn't strongly fragranced.My hair is very curly, long and dry from lots of bleaching and dyeing over the years. Recently I had some balayage done at the salon and decided to purchase this from amazon after getting it done to restore some life back to my hair. Prior to using Olaplex my hair felt very fragile from the blonde. I combed a very generous amount through my unwashed towel-dried hair with a tangle teezer, tied my hair up and left it on whilst I went do run some errands, probably around 6 hours. I washed and conditioned as normal.It's been almost a week since first using this and my hair feels pretty much as it did before I got the balayage done, suprisingly. I haven't noticed any breakage, my curl pattern looks the same and my hair is soft and shiny. This isn't a conditioning treatment...it can leave your hair dry if you don't condition properly afterwards. It's just repairing the bonds in your hair, not giving you any moisture or hydration. It's only been one use but I can definitely see and feel the difference. Normally after bleach or dye my hair looks messed up for weeks - very dry, flat and frizzy. That hasn't happened this time round. My hair is bouncy and my curls are defined. Hopefully Olaplex continues to do the job! Not a miracle treatment as it's not going to make you have virgin hair again if your hair is as damaged as mine, but very good.UPDATE: Had my hair lightened again at the salon...hairdresser was amazed at how "soft" my hair was. As the only thing I've been doing differently is using Olaplex, I can only assume the softness and general health of my hair is down to this. 2 bleaching sessions in 1 month and my hair is still shiny, soft and looking nice. Great stuff. Oh and I compared this bottle to the bottle they sell in the salon...looked exactly the same.

This is a miracle product! I have recently had highlights and have mixed race hair. I have been really struggling to recreate the salon softness of my new look and my hair has been dry and straw like. Left this product in for 25 mins (mainly because I was busy doing housework) and as soon as I washed it out, I could feel that my hair was replenished. If it can work this well on my dry course mixed race hair, it’s some sort of magical product!

Works ok but you need to put half the bottle on so 2 uses at most and at this price for a tiny 100ml in this climate it would be a one time buy

i very rarely write reviews but this product has improved my hair so much! i’ve used it once and it already feels much healthier and softer after being bleached twice and dyed, perfect
