Got my shower working again but this is not value for money....
Like most people I bought this in blind panic when my Triton shower started to gush water out of the back of the unit one morning. I ordered it and arrived next day which was great (paid the extra for next day postage as we needed the shower working the next day). The disappointing thing about this (and I only realised once delivered) is that it's not a replacement PRD but only a service kit. Now don't get me wrong, I shouldnt of assumed I was getting the whole thing but you are basically paying £8 for 6 small rubber washers and balls..... Not somthing I would consider good value. The good news is that the instructions are very clear, the washer and ball are VERY easy to fit and my shower is back up and running.

How to sort out electric showerp pressure drop problem
I thought we may need to buy a new shower when the Shower pressure suddenly dropped off. Turned out the pressure relief valve had blown. After some research I found that most electric showers have this feature. Bought this repair set and within 15 minutes the shower was as good as new. Very good and simple instructions and great price. If you experience a sudden pressure drop it is worth checking this first as a very easy and cheap DIY fix. Vendor was extremely responsive and efficient and the kit arrived very quickly. . Highly recommended!

Cheaper than a plumber!
Dispatch was immediate & my kit arrived the next day. As a previous reviewer says, the price is a bit steep for a few bits of rubber, but is definitely cheaper than a plumber. The repair was a bit of a pain for two reasons. One - my Triton Zante 3 has its pressure relief valve mounted at a sideways angle & proved awkward to remove & refit. Two - it took two attempts to make the repair, as on the first occasion, I inserted the rubber ball too far into the valve & it was expelled as soon as I turned the shower back on! Some guidance in the instructions would have saved me having to do the job twice. But the repair worked & the shower is working normally again.

Brilliant and easy...
The man who supplies these Pressure Relief Devices makes it so easy to fit that even a complete novice (like me) could follow his instructions (included in the pack). Having turned off the power supply to the shower (important to do if you want to live to brag about what a good job you've done afterwards---though you don't have to touch any electrical wiring in doing the job), it took me no more than 10 minutes to remove the shower cover, unscrew the Pressure Relief Valve, fit the new washer and ball, refit the PRV and cover and reconnect the power. And, whaddya know, it works---and I've got 5 spare kits for future use....Brilliant product, easy to use, foolproof....excellent result....

Simple shower fix
While in the shower the other morning, I heard a small pop and the water pressure dropped. Getting out of the shower, I found the floor was underwater. Further investigation showed that there was water coming out of an outlet at the bottom of the shower.A little googling showed that the pressure release device must have triggered and instead of needing to replace the shower, I just needed to replace the small rubber ball inside the PRD.I ordered the parts on 29 September. They were dispatched on 30 September and by lunchtime on 1 October, my shower was back in full working order. Full, easy to follow instructions are included with a bag of 6 rubber balls, so as long as I remember the safe place I put them in, this should keep my shower running for the foreseeable future.

Excellent little product
Excellent little product. Cheaper than the whole replacement part, but just as easy to fit.Fixed my Triton Excite after I popped the PRD by using a non-Triton shower head.Took abut 15 minutes to fit, including finding the screwdrivers and removing & replacing the front of the shower.Product does contain six sets of ball and O-ring, which is probably five too many, but they're so smallit's not worth putting fewer in the envelope I guess. Comes with a helpful instruction and advice sheet.

Works fine but overpriced for what is is
Shower started pouring water from the bottom. To avoid costly repairs sometimes a quick google search is worth a try and this told me-the PRD has operated because i changed the shower head and it turns out the pump couldn't deal with the extra pressure required. Anyways, bought these to replace the old little rubber ball which had obviously gone down the drain. Fitted it in literally 4 minutes, including walking to the shed for a screwdriver. Works a treat. NB: i have cleaned out my old shower head and replaced it, otherwise it would back to square 1.My only issue is this- £1.99 p+p is ridiculous. Buying 6 is also ridiculous-my shower is never likely to go again, never mind 6 times. Cheaper than a plumber but still pricey for what it is. I'll keep a couple back and put the others on ebay.

Third of the price! well worth the money
I always have a PRD device on hand just in case! it usually can cost £10+ for a device - but here you get the seals (which is really the only part you need) for £8 or less. Even better there are excellent instructions on what to do too - very happy to support a small business that is UK based - thank you very much
