I use it with an iPad Air - I assume it will work with the iPad Air 2. You need to have a lightning adapter cable to connect the two devices.

Q: Can I use this to connect my fender acoustic 100 amp to my iPad Pro

Hi, I've had a look at your amp and I see it has balanced line outputs. The iTrack solo doesn't have a line input and so we wouldn't recommend connecting an amp to it. It's best to connect the line output of your amp to an interface with line inputs. If you have the iPad Pro (9.7"), you can use the Focusrite iTrack Dock. If you have the larger iPad Pro, the Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 may be best as it features a mains power supply. Yes, works well with a 2018 iPad Pro 10". Note that it does drain the battery pretty quickly though, so if you have an adapter that'll allow you to plug into the mains as well as into the iTrack, that'd be better for sure. Apple's multiport adapters work well, but ain't cheap!
