Harris Premier Pole Sander

Excellent pole sander. Spent hours sanding Easi-Fill compound on walls and ceiling with it using a T-Class Super Double Click Locking Pole 2ft-4ft" pole and it worked really, really well.Harris are a trusted brand in decorating and it feels really well made, so I expect I'll have this for years. I'd like to say I'm looking forward to the next time I use it, but, whilst it's a good product, it still doesn't make me look forward to decorating :)

We are in the middle of the long process of redecorating our new house and this pole sander is one of the best value tools we have considering the amount of time and effort it saves us.The sander is as straight forward to use as it seems: clip your sand paper into this head, attach to your painting pole (we already have a long Harris pole we use for rollering and it fits perfectly) then you are ready to sand away with absolute ease comparative to doing it by hand.Prior to purchasing this I had also purchased a mouse sander, which is good but just not suitable at all for ceilings and does tend to take a little too much paint off the wall: this pole sander in comparison is the perfect solution to making sanding easy, I am convinced of it.Without this tool, sanding the ceiling is almost impossible or at least requires a lot of patience and effort.You can buy rolls of sand paper that are the exact width of this product, and they work well together but are not necessary, I am using some sand paper I got from B&Q and just ripping it roughly to size and securing that in place with the screw clamps. If it broke tomorrow I would replace it straight away.

Have always liked Harris products, and this example is no exception. Easy to set up and use...with a bit of practice! And best of all, it works, and I have little doubt it will continue to work the next time it is required. Recommended.

This is a variation on the "doodlebug" device invented by 3M, I think.I had been a little worried as I've seen reviews that mention that the internal threads didn't fit the pole tip. No worries, these do.So it fits on any pole that has the common acme thread, in particular, the Harris poles. It also fits the Unger window cleaning poles which is what I wanted it for.It's good for sanding, I'm sure, as that's what it's designed to do. But it's great for much more than that. With a microfibre cloth clamped firmly in place, it can be used for just about any cleaning task.I've been playing with it all day! I've cleaned my upstairs windows (from ground level using a 5m Harris pole) by using a very wet cloth which left streaks when dry and then polishing with a dry microfibre just misted with window cleaning spray. I've also dusted all the walls in the house and given the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom a good cleaning and polishing. I also did all the hard floors by using it like a regular mop and then a dry mop by changing the microfibre. Just a single day with this incredible tool has enabled me to clean pretty much the whole house and all with a few microfibre cloths and without the need to climb on chairs or ladders or reach a long distance.You do need to be careful to grip the cloth firmly under the clamps, but with that covered, with this tool, a few microfibre cloths and a Harris pole (or any other decorators' pole) you can clean just about anything.

This is the most fantastic tool , I decided to get the old carpet up off my landing , and paint the floorboards, I didn't realise ( foolishly ) what a mammoth task this was going to be, all the floorboards needed filling and of course sanding, I haven't got an electric sander all the ones Iv'e tried send my arm numb so started on my hands and knees with sandpaper, what a slow backbreaking job. I saw this on Amazon and bought it along with the Harris Premier 345 Pole Sander , I'm so glad I did it is amazing so easy I used it with the rolls of 3M coarse sandpaper I have done in a couple of hours what would have taken me a couple of days. The paper stays in place and is very easy to replace. this product is pretty good, makes the job a little easyer, can recommend it to any one and the price is good

The thread looks like it's far too shallow for a screw pole.I'll likely use a brush shaft and trim it down to jam in then drill and screw.
