Perfect diffuser for Dyson
This product is exactly what I was looking for. My Dyson didn't come with a diffuser but this was an easy addition. And while I was annoyed at first that it comes in 2 pieces it actually makes it much easier to store and it magnetically snaps together so there's really no assembly each time.

I love my Dyson airwrap and the way it styles my hair. I have naturally curly hair, so it seemed cumbersome to have a separate hair dryer just to use a diffuser for my hair to show its natural curls. I got this with a little hesitation, but it fits the dyson airwrap just like the original attachments that it came with. This diffuser is two pieces, so it travels nicely. Easy to use and durable.

It is great..BUT
The media could not be loaded. It is a great idea, it does the job, and it truly looks legit BUT... I am concerned that it would damage my wand. The way in which the converter is ingeneered, it does not allow the wand to release the air throught the converter at the same speed as the wand creates it. The air only comes out of the edges of the converter. So i feel like the a lot of the air is trapped creating pressure that could possibly damage my unit. I really wish i didnt feel so hesitant to use it because i really do love the design of it but I rather be save than sorry!. Also, the converter gets hot.Update: i am upgrading to 4 stars. I purchase an authentic dyson diffuser and there is more airflow, which makes me feel more comfortable using the adapter. I also can use it with other dyson attachments. I still have my concerns, but I feel better with the dyson diffuser as it allows a little more air to flow.Last update: I just did not feel comfortable using the diffuser adaptor. I felt like the sound the machine made was different and I just did not want to mess up a $600 item with a $28 attachment. Sooo...I did some changes and now my machine sounds as it does with its original attachments and im not worried. I used a welder to make a hole in the adapter and allow the air to flow and just be "directed" towards the diffuser piece. I also made holes in the back of the adapter (this wasn't necessary, but i feel it helps getting rid of extra air). Then I used a welder to remove the middle piece of the diffuser. I must admit, it is not the cleanest look, but it gets the job done. It could have been a lot better have I not winged it and have better tools. Ideally it would have been better if I left the full inner ring instead of just 1/3 of it lol. The strength of the connection between the adaptor and the diffuser it would have been a lot stronger. As seen in the video, it's OK strength to maneuver the diffuser. I was ok doing all these changes to the non-original diffuser, I couldn't get myself to do it to the original dyson though lol. But if I were to alter the dyson diffuser, I would just enlarge the current holes in the center of the diffuser. When I compared both diffusers after making the holes in the adaptor, there is a lot more air coming from the non-original diffuser, but the sound of the machine is the same. Overall, I'm glad I did these changes as it gives me a piece of mind that I'm not messing up my wand. Also, please keep in mind that the wand might not be made to stay constantly on for long diffusing times.

Worth it
I love my diffuser! It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It keeped my curls pretty good which is normally hard for my hair.

Works but broken
The diffuser works and attaches to my Dyson but the two prongs arrived broken. Photo 1Update. The second shipment arrived broken again (photo 2). I really like the product, but how can I get a non broken product??

Sharp and painful
I'm not sure how people use this, it hurts! It's too curved and doesn't fit the shape of a normal head. The prongs are sharp, especially when only a couple are even in contact with your head. I can only imagine this is meant for super thick hair such that you have a natural cushion and barrier for this torture device. I've used plenty of diffusers in the past which seem to work more like massage fingers to seperate hair for volume and styling, but this is unusable to me.

Great tool for styling straight razor cut hair
I have fine but plentiful straight-ish hair that is razor cut into a soft shag, and this attachment is perfect for achieving a nice texturized look. The attachment feels well made and stays on securely while I use it.First I blow dry my hair with the rough dry attachment to about 85% dry, then I put my texturizing product in and scrunch to get texturized pieces of hair. Then I put on the diffuser attachment and turn the heat on medium and airflow speed on low to scrunch, handstyle, and diffuse my hair to style it and get it fully dry. I usually only heat diffuse in 15-20 seconds intervals before switching to the cool air setting to set my hair, and then switching the airwrap off completely to check everything is handstyled just right. Using these heat settings and methods, I find that my airwrap or the attachment never get too hot in the process.I wouldn’t say this is a super fast process, as it takes me another ten-ish minutes to get my hair styled and 100% dry, but having this attachment sure beats buying the dyson hairdryer + diffuser that my stylist usually uses!Overall, recommend for my fellow shaggy haired friends looking to get that textured look.
