Chad Valley 100 Piece Styling Dolls Head

Bought this for my 3 year old as she loves brushing hair, it arrived this morning and I though this would keep her busy for a few hours. As I unboxed the style head I could see that the hair looked matted but thought a brush would do it the world of good. I took the brush from the pack and removed the hair ties to give it a brush, as you can see there has been clumps of "hair" that came out of this product, this was the second pass with the brush and the hair still is a matted mess at the ends. This means that my 3 year old wouldn't be able to sit and brush the dolls hair as she wanted as the brush doesn't get through to the ends without a tug. Another issue I have with this is that little beads are provided to thread through the hair for decoration, no tool is provided to help children do this and as an adult I think even I would struggle to get the hair through the holes. There is nothing on the bottom of the head to stop it from moving around a table either - as in rubber feet or anything so it slides about at minimal pressure. You can see I managed to plait the hair as my little one wanted it the same as I do hers but it was a struggle as the hair doesn't separate well due to the matting. Thoroughly disappointed with this product, not sure if we've just been unlucky with the hair or not - would have sent it back if the box wasn't in the bin and I'd definitely not buy it again.

Loads of accessories best one I had seen when I bought it. Can create endless styles and looks with this head. It encourages my daughter to get creative and she sometimes uses the colourful clips etc in her own hair. Be careful of about a 100 small bits of plastic though if you have a little one!

Bought for granddaughter for Xmas. I am sure she will enjoy it

This item was a waste of money. I chose Chad Valley as its a brand I grew up so thought of as quality. The bag had a broken zip, the coloured extensions fell off the grips, several hair slides were broken and had bits missing and top it all off the head and shoulders split apart. As this qas bought for my 3yr old grand daughters birthday she was really upset by it all, as were all us adults. Had it not been an adult unpacking the box I would have thought it was all damaged by an all too eager child. Save your money, only wish I had!!!!

Brought for grand daughter as christmas present as she loves playing with people hair, has lots of fun some items that came with the doll are abit small for her so have been put away for when she is older.
