For the money, this is a very impressive little camera. Image quality is very good - nice crisp, clear video from the lens. Set up, monitoring and control via a smartphone or tablet is super easy. I was very impressed by the Yi app, which had a nicer, more user-friendly UI than Sony's. Aesthetically and design wise, this is the nicest looking value action cam IMHO, especially in white, although it's debatable how important this is in action cam (especially once in a case).A few minor niggles; the memory card flap is not attached to the camera so will inevitably get lost sooner rather than later. Also, the LED ring around the front button could have been used much more creatively; given there is no-inbuilt image monitoring, a red glow for 'Recording' might be good, for example.Look, this is no GoPro when it comes to ruggedness, looks or quality. It would cost Yi a couple of quid to include a waterproof case for this, but they don't. It's not a 4k Sony with image stabilisation. But despite it being cheap and Chinese, it punches well above its weight. if you just want something to enjoy on your hols or (as I did) treat this as an entry-level experience before investing more, go for it!

The camera is very good but at the pictures looks like the european version ( metallic cover and flat from the bottom side ) but it is the chinese version of the camera. Also at the description says "no battery" so i think that the battery that it came is a generic chinese battery and not panasonic(chinese version) or sony (international version) as it should be. Better communicate first with seller for more info.

Best value action camera.Xiaomi build an amazing name around cellphones and gadgets...This one shoots 60fps 1080p...You can also choose between slightly fish eye or rectilinear!
