Hoppa 4 Wheel 22" 63L Shopper Shopping Trolley Cart (Black)

I can't recommend this trolley enough. I helped my mum buy this to replace an old one. She uses it every week for her weekly shop LOADS the trolley up with heavy items including dozens of cans of soup, bags of pasta, washing powder, bags of frozen items, and other heavy stuff.It weighs a tonne when she's finished but it's lasted incredibly and is still going as strong as the day we bought it a year ago.She pushes it rather than pulls it, which is better for her shoulder, and it maneuvers really well. It's so good at supporting the weight and being maneuvered that she walks the mile from the supermarket home with it.It keeps its shape and was easy to assemble. Only thing to note is that if you do need to lift it when it is full, such as to go up a step into your house, you cannot do this by the handle or it will break. You will need to lift from the bottom, which is fine for me but not for a 73 year old.To quote her: "it's very stable, takes a lot of heavy weights, and saves a fortune on taxis. Tell them to push it not pull it and be careful on uneven pavements as it might tip over. I would definitely buy another one".

The trolley which I purchased over a month ago seemed strong and capable of holding whatever amount of shopping I put in it and the wheels where a lot sturdier than my last trolley I was pleased that was until I did my Christmas shopping only for the right back wheel to bend off as I got to the entrance of my front door. I tapped it back on and now it seems to be fine but only time will tell. I now know that with a moderate to more than moderate amount of shopping I can not risk any turns to the right or left because one of the wheels will bend or pop off this will without any doubts cause weakness for the wheels over time. Already thinking of purchasing a different shopping trolley with left and right move abilities.

Bought this to replace a similar trolly I got from Catterick Market back in 2004. That trolley had faithfully carried my shopping 2 miles each and every Monday, and a few extra trips inbetween like at Christmas. Hoping this replacement will do as well. Looks good, and was the lowest priced on offer when I bought it, and as has been said, only the wheels, which are plastic, needed to be fitted. The frame seems to have been coated, unlike my old one which is now very rusty. Hopefully the coasting might help this one last a bit longer. My only gripe, and hence the loss of a star, whilst it was simple to put the wheels on, a little instruction might have been a good idea. Also, this trolley seems to have the same basic design which I believe is the reason for my old one giving up. Namely that the frame does have some movement so the rack across the bottom, supporting the bag, near the wheels, in time will work loose. I believe this would be prevented if there was a metal crossbar acorss the front and rear to give it some rigidity.

Mother really pleased with this trolly. She has been using the old style pull along one which was giving her a sore neck and shoulders with twisting to pull her old trolly especially if quite heavy. This is like pushing a pram, the wheels spin effortlessly, the handle has a foam grip and the height of the handle can adjust, it can also fold flat for storage.I added a little bit of velcro just under the flap of the hood to stop it blowing up on windy days.All in all it's perfect for her. Ordered two of these black hoppa trolleys and only received one by hoppa which was fine as it's what i wanted, the other was a much more cheaply made model by new classic in a different colour. False advertisement, will never order from this seller again.

i had been looking at trolleys in ARgos ..but they were double this pricei ordered this on amazon, and -even with free delivery- it was delivered by courier at a time convenient to me .it works finei've put a bit of velcro on the cover and front to keep the 'lid' on in windy weather .but seems great . very cheap too ..

I bought this for my mum. She loves it. It's great support for her. The adjustable handles means it's the right height for her too. The only comment from her is, when it's windy the flap over the trolley keeps blowing open.

If the bag was as sturdy as the frame then I would have given this shopping trolley a 5 star but unfortunately, the bag is quite flimsy which keeps on collapsing.
