CPU Cooler 0P105246 - Raijintek
Fantastic Bit of engineering for the money that this Fan cost. It came fully boxed and its packing could have been a little better But saying that the anti tamper circle of tape that prevents someone from just opening the box had allready been mremoved. So I could not say if or not it had been previously sold and returned. If it had been electrical or sensative to static I would have had it changed. Also on checking out the cooler the plasting cover for the CPU face was still on the cooler and had not been tampered with. The cooler comes as a kit of parts and you have to build it upFirst assemble the parts on the M/B which makes up the cooler mounting platform. Now the cooler needs the fan fitting to it and this is mounted with what I can only describe as rubber pins and to say it was a fiddly jab was a understatment. In the end I got it done. But would have preferred a different mounting method as even after they was all inplace and mounted Im not sure how long it will stay fully in place. Once the CPU has been installed and you put on a layer of thermal grease (You do not need to buy any extra as the kit comes with a small pack of it ( The cheapest I found as a extra was about £3.00 So another bit saved)). It is also a little fiddly to get the cooler correctly mounted on the CPU and correctly fastened down. Sor from my original Observation. It just shows how things can chang out. And that is why I have only given it a ok rating. Also I sugest that the fan be on the top side of the cooler that way it should not come off. All in all its a cheap cooler that originally looks gret when you open the box but as you get into the fitting it then becomes apparent why the cooler is so cheap..

Does the job at this pricepoint.
For the price, this is great. After monitoring my idle temps on my Intel i5 4690k with the stock cpu cooler, the Idle temperatures were around 37-43 - a tad too high for a brand new gaming build processor in my opinion. So, I ordered this as I am on a tight budget and can now say I idle between 26-32 degrees and have noticed drastic change even when the CPU is under load. When gaming I am used to 52-57 degrees with the stock cooler. But, with this I am pleasantly surprised to see between 40-50 when gaming.Although assembly was a tad tedious, I blame this on having my build all set up and was reluctant to remove the entire motherboard.***One word of warning I would say though*** - Once you put the rubber feet of the fan into the heat sink, if you need to remove/change its position you will likely result in some of the fans of metal on the heat sink becoming bent. I found this and they were very easy to bend if not careful. Once the rubber pins are in there, I would recommend leaving them there. Because of this, make sure it's in the correct position when applying first time.Considering this comes with thermal paste at this price point (Enough for 2+ applications if you look after the small packet it comes in), I definitely would recommend.

Pretty compact, very cheap, very easy installation, average performance.
I got this CPU cooler as a quick and cheap replacement for the standard AMD CPU cooler that comes with the fx8370. This was my first attempt at installing a cpu cooler and it couldn't have been easier. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The cooler itself is quite short, it only about 13 cm. As a result the van is also very small. This cooler could potentially work with a stock fx8370, but i hate temps over 65 degrees so i slightly underclocked the CPU. With the underclock i would rarely go over 60 degrees and there was no noticeable performance drop. I do however have a really bad case when it come to ventilation so that is also a big factor when considering high temperatures. You could without a doubt make this cooler work with a cooler running cpu , but not with a fx series cpu. Saying that fx CPU's can get to 85ish before thermal throttling.I recently got a coolmaster 212 evo, and there is no doubt its a superior cooler if it fits your case. For only £10 more i get temps about 10 degrees cooler, for me thats worth he extra money. My temps are still too high for my liking but they certainly aren't remotely dangerous. My thermal margin with the raijinteck was low 20's, and with the coolmaster i've never seen it go below 30.Saying that i still love this cooler, for below £20 its in a class of its own. However if you going to spend £80+ on a cpu you should at least be prepared to buy a adequate cooler. If you do have a small case a budget build this could be a good cpu for you.

Overal a good CPU cooler, low temps and cheap as chips
OVERVIEWThis fan is as cheap as chips, I would estimate about a 1/3 of the price of the go to award winning Cooler Master 212x and almost performed as the well. It was within 1oC of the Cooler Master at all temps. With this being a 92mm fan it had to push a little more air than the 120mm fans which made it a little bit more noisey, however the price more than made up for this £30 vs £15. This CPU cooler can be used in a push pull config.CONTENTSHeatskin92mmFanThermal CPU PasteRubber fan nutsBrackets for AMDBrackets for INTELSPECDimension: 95(W) x 55(D) x 136(H) mmThe CPU cooler is the smallest in Raijinitek’s range and is designed to operate in environments where there isn’t a large amount of clearance around the CPU socket. Watch out if your memory slots are near the CPU as you will certainly need low profile memory. This CPU cooler was a great improve over a stock CPU cooler at about 11oC better and was within 1oC of the legendary Cooler Master 212x and made only a tad bit more noise at 25%, 50% and 100% fan speeds.OVERALGo buy this CPU cooler if you like cheap and very good performance or 120mm CPU cooler wont fit. This is currently the best 92mm CPU Cooler on the market and has a peanuts price to boot, you can not argue with that. My only minor gripe with this item is the colour scheme that Raijintek have chosen does not match my PC parts but do not let this put you off. I still love the CPU cooler and its price and the temps reached.10/10 a halo perfect product given its price
