I take care of my grandmother who owns a 1950s home. It has a septic tank and there are some recurring issues that come along with it. I bought this a long time ago after she needed help with her clogged bathtub. I poured two cups in her drain and we let it sit overnight. The slow drain and clog that she had experienced for over a month was gone! There are times when it will get clogged, whether it’s hair or just grime, and it will go slow. This always comes to the rescue. Easy to use and fast. Some times it will require a bit more product or hot water to clear, but I have only had great experiences with thin within the last few years. I highly recommend. Price is great for what it is and the job that it takes care of. We always have some on hand for her so we can handle it.

not a big review writer but this is definitely an item that you need to check the reviews on, and let me tell you, it WORKS. i was a bit nervous about it, but i poured a bit down the drain, waited an hour or two and followed up with boiling water and it unclogged like a dreammmmm! didn’t have any smell either :)

This product is wonderful ! You really don't need to use as much as what it says on the bottle... I bought my first bottle approx. 4 yrs ago.. I just did finish it up.. that's how good it is! IT WORKS ! It really is wonderful, great price, no gimmics...I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying this !

This stuff works pretty good compared to other brands and the cost is reasonable. I found that the best way for it to work is to use it at night prior to going to bed. In the morning I use a kettle to boil up some water and flush the affected drain. Bam, usually works efficiently and effectively. I also use this drain opener for preventive purposes. Once every few months or so I like pure about a half bottle down the washing machine basement drain pipe at night and set the wash cycle on “clean mode” for the morning. This knocks out any soap, fabric softener and probably potential hair residue buildup. A few years ago this pipe experienced a back flow from a clog and hasn’t happened since I started doing preventative treatment. I always try to keep an extra bottle or two handy for “just in case”.
