Got this for my Keter bike shed, it's 2.4cm in the middle so fits the lock nicely although it is a tight. I couldn't find anything larger anywhere else. Initially I got a master lock one but 2cm is too narrow.The lock itself seems really solid and appears like it will be weather proof, I'll update again in the future.

Good sturdy and weatherproof lock, this is one of the best for under £20, will buy again.

Got a lock for my shed which was too small/tight for the housing so read a few reviews and got this. It's perfect for size and fits the shed well. I did listen to the other reviews and oiled it before putting it outside. One winter passed and it's showing some weathering, but it still works well and I reckon if I oil it at least once a year it should last a good long time. Not perfect but pretty decent and does what I need it to do.

Used for seciring a garden furniture box. Robust, well made, good lock, easy to use.

Strong, totally weather sealed padlock ideal for outside use. Comes with 2 keys but more can be cut at your local shoe repair/key cutting service. It is made entirely of brass so there is nothing to rust and add the strong plastic cladding and the snap close cover to the key slot makes this a maintenance free quality lock (apart from a small drop of oil into the key slot at the start). A really quality lock and highly recommended for outdoor use.

Bought it for outdoor garage door. Perfect for the job. Has absolutely withstood a lot of rain with no issues, no rusting, open with the key and opens absolutely smoothly every time, no deterioration at all seen over the past months. One press, and it locks. Absolutely what I wanted the lock to be.

Really good quality lock. We've had it on our front gate for a couple of months now and it's showing no signs of weather damage. Other, cheaper locks didn't last at all so we'll worth the extra!

Bought 2 in 2015. First job was to completely cover them totally in vaseline. Left them hanging outside for a couple of days then wiped off the excess vaseline and used fully outside for gates. Here in the middle of 2018, they still work perfectly with no seizures or corrosion. I would recommend them anytime.
