Great selection of dives from all around the UK.Unlike many dive guides, that predominantly seem to feature dives at depths only accessible to technical divers with specialist training and equipment, all dives described in this book are at depths of 18 metres or shallower. Most are described as suitable for (experienced) novice divers with a guide. The dives described include both shore dives and boat dives and are highly varied, ranging from shipwrecks and harbour walls to piers and lifeboat stations.Unlike some dive guides, the descriptions in this volume are interestingly written and contain a liberal sprinkling of humour - as well as useful tips, such as where to park and what local facilities are available.A valuable addition to the bookshelf of anyone considering diving in British coastal waters.

A really good book, but looking a bit dated, in my opinion.

Bought as a present for a budding diver, extremely well received. I'll update the review when they start getting out.

I bought this book as a present for a friend diver and it looks really good and informative.It's a shame that the top of the cover is slightly damaged (plastic film coming off, even though the packaging wasn't damaged). No way of contacting the seller and no time to arrange return / replacement as Birthday is tomorrow!

Gave it to my soninlaw for christmas. He teaches diving and really liked this book. Said it would be very useful to him.
