Dinosaur 4D+ Cards by Octagon Studio - Augmented Reality Educational Flashcards - Interactive Learning for Kids - Compatible with iOS & Android

I work in childcare and recently tried this new product out in the classroom. The kids loved it. Firstly, the Ocean 4D+ pack comes with 35 cards, are than the usual sets. The 3D models are incredibly detailed and high-quality and the app's information section is brilliant, providing insights into conservation threats and diet. Basically saving me a tonne of work. All in all, the cards are something I will be keeping in the learning environment, supplementing curriculum. if your a teacher, you won't regret using these.

This was bought as a birthday gift for our grandson - he has not received it yet , but unopened it is as shown on screen

Great with the phone app. however I don't recommend the VR goggles which are optional extras.

Such an amazing take on the traditional puzzle. Once assembled you can scan the puzzle to see it come to life with all the animals seen on the puzzle, there is also an educational menu and a mini game where you can feed some of the animals in VR

The first thing you need to do is download the app, you get a code in the box to register it, the registration code works for three devices.The idea is you scan the cards with the app and an animal displays and you can swivel the animals by touching the screen. The next thing are little cards with food on and if you place next to the animal it will eat the food.The animals are actually pretty good and detailed and they work really really well, easy to scan the cards and the app is pretty decent.They move realistically and are very life like doing their own thing and their are a lot of different animals to scan.As well as the cards the app has an option to read/ hear all about the animals with either a pre school or advanced narrative.There is a little animal detective game and a vr mode too.Holo mode let's you view the animals in 3d if you have a prism to use with it.All in all impressed with the animals, detail and thr quality of the audioIts great for kids to learn about animals and have fun doing it, my daughter loves watching them come to life through the phone. My only annoyance is the license, if you have bought the set you shouldn't be confined to just three devices, though it's enough for most it's just annoying.

Although there are many ways now to experience what the dinosaur age animals were like with films and children's TV programmes, this product is absolutely superb especially as an addition to the other products of Animal cards I have spoken about and in the same way. I can only repeat here what I said: Classic educational value for children in the age of rapidly developing 3d+ and 4d+ applications. I bought these for my two grandsons who are aged 3 and 4 and both were enthralled by them, as was I. If I have criticism it is only the cumbersomeness of actuating the experience which is too sophisticated for their use. Better I'm sure for those who might be 7 or so. That said, the movement and sounds are great fun and the bonus of them is the additional information they provide over and above the ar/vr visual experience. I also used them with a £1.99 google cardboard. Every child should have them. I recommend the Dinosaur 4D+ to go with them. for children who want to combine

The puzzle was easy for kids, but delivered with a piece missing. And the VR does work but is quite small and fiddly for children to use.
