Excellent product!
I now have these fitted to both toilets in the house and they save me from acute pain when getting on and off the toilet. It is a wellmade robust product and much more comfortable than others I have used. There is a weight limit for users but I am well within. It is very flexible and easily lifted, or even removed, for cleaning the toilet. The original fitting took a bit of working out but all you need to do is securely bolt the flat bar onto the pan and the rest is easy. The seat then slots onto the ends of the bar and is held in place by a screw-on knob each side. The arms then slot in each side and are held in position by easily removable red plugs. The height adjustments are achieved by positioning the cross-shaped spacers in the relevant slots inside the seat, with the seat upturned, and then slotting the seat onto the bar at the appropriate level slot in the seat. The various slot and spacer combinations allow for sloping as well as flat level options. If you need a raised toilet seat this fits the bill in terms of allround function, flexibility and appearance.

Good value, intelligently made and functionaly brilliant
I bought this for my mother who suffers from arthritis in the hips and knees with the hope it would make getting on and off the toilet easier. After ordering the raiser, we received a phone call from company inquiring on the reasons for the purchase (ie is it for someone with a particular condition, which condition etc) The next day it arrived in the early afternoon, 7 days earlier than expected. It was very easy to put together, is well made and extremely well thought out in design, with 3 different heights that are easy to adjust and you can have it heigher/lower at the front or back to fine tune the seating. Its very sturdy and the quality fit and finish feel like it came with the toilet bowl itself. I cant fault it, my mum would be lost without it as she fines it extreamly comfortable where the normal toilet seat was very awkward and painful for her. The service was brilliant, seat is excellent and well worth the outlay as its great quality. Big plus

almost the perfect raised toilet seat
mainly really impressed with this toilet seat.easy to fit, easy to clean, looks good, the only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars is the lift up lid should be made strong enough for you to sit on.i didn't even try sitting on it as it bowes in just by pressing down lightly on it with my hand so i am certain it couldn't take the weight of a person weighing 13st which i am and that weight is well within the weight limits for the rest of the product.please bring an updated version with a stronger lid as many people sit on toilet lids when drying themselves after a bath or shower.

Good, very good
Originally, I ordered one without arms. I cancelled that and ordered this one. I'm glad I did. It is a big product for my little bathroom. Getting to my washbasin is a little harder. But having a taller seat with handles, out weighs any disadvantages. If I had to choose again, I would choose this one again. It is sturdy as long as the screws are tighten well. I no longer have the strength in my hand to do that, so I probably will retighten it every couple of months. I brought a new silicone toilet brush to use with it but that didn't work as well so I have ordered an ordinary, yet extra long toilet brush, to clean it with.

One of the best!
I bought it for my mother (she's a big lady) and she loved it, it's very comfortable, strong even for those who have to put a lot of weight on their arms to transfer. Raising the arms also helps in other situations. Very good!!!

Really comfortable and armrests are excellent
I had major spinal surgery and bought this seat to be at home when I came out of hospital. My husband fitted it in minutes and it helped so much while I was recovering. The armrests are fab, but only gave 4 stars for sturdiness as they move a tiny but and creak slightly when you push yourself up. This is fine, but needs to me mentioned. I don't have space for a floor standing version, so it was brilliant for me.

Good for elderly
Bought for mum as she struggled with a low seat. Very easy to fit and gives user extra security when standing up from toilet. Good that arm supports fold up. Only negative is it’s not easy to clean under the seat.

An uplifting experience all round - Until the securing "nuts" failed!!
Well, it did the job for a couple of years, then one day, one of the cheap plastic nuts that secure the seat to the back of the toilet shattered. Dangerous! This means the seat is lose & tips up to one side when using the opposite hand rest. Luckily, I had a spare better quality nut from a previous seat (always keep little things like that) After fixing that, I thought I'd better check the other side. I started to undo it & it just fell apart in my hand! I ABSOLUTELY ADVISE ANYONE BUYING, OR THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE, ONE OF THESE SEATS, TO FIX IT WITH BETTER QUALITY LOO SEAT NUTS THAN THOSE SUPPLIED WHICH WILL FAIL & COULD CAUSE INURY WHEN IT HAPPENS.
