Brings back fond childhood memories
Watching Robotech as a child, I always dreamed of being Rick Hunter and flying among the stars, but knew it was out of reach. When Scott Bernard can on the Robotech scene with the Cyclone bike, I knew this was a dream I could achieve. I've been a avid biker ever since. Having this beautifully detailed recreation of that classic bike just brings all those childhood feeling back and makes me psyched up for my next ride on my custom bike. It's not a cyclone but I have not given up on making a true full size working cyclone bike in my lifetime.

Only get it if you love the Robotech/Mospeda series
I waited for this thing for FOREVER!It is cool, and I'm glad I got it, but the quality of the Masterpiece Collection series is nowhere to be found on this thing. I thought they'd skimped on the Alphas, but these Cyclones are terribly constructed.Things fall off of them constantly, and no matter which form you have them in, their shape remains solid only as long as unicorns keep dreaming. Which means they don't hold together well for those of you that don't get sarcasm. Also, the company I ordered this through I believe sold me a "repackaged" version of this toy. I can't be certain because the box itself is "forever mint in a box," but from having purchased EVERYTHING that came from the Masterpiece Collection, I'm pretty sure this had been opened previously. Not that this fact affects the aforementioned poor construction of the figure. That's just the state of the product.Oh, and also, it took me an HOUR AND 15 MINUTES TO TRANSFORM the first (and thus only) time I've done it. The guide is 85 STEPS LONG to transform it from the motorcycle to the body armor. HA!

A Masterpiece!
I've owned the #1 Scott Bernard Masterpiece Cyclone figure for about 2 years now, and let me just say that it is exactly what you would expect... awesome. I have not exactly opened my toy up and transformed it, but I do look at it from time to time. Opening it would be pretty dumb being that the thing rises in price like every 6 months. I've seen these things go for $600 on ebay and it's a pretty cool thing to be able to say that you own one of these figures (of course you have to be a fan of the show to think it's cool otherwise you are just a nerd/dork). I purchased mine for the $200 price tag and I have no regrets. I had wanted on of these things ever since I was like 5 so I guess I am precisely in the target market. I purchased a Rand Masterpiece Cyclone just so I could transform one of these bad boys and it was great. Perfectly sized, heavy, and detailed. I was able to sell the Rand figure for about 50 dollars more than I purchased it for because I sold it internationally. It was actually hard to let that thing go so I imagine that I am never going to get rid of my Scott Bernard piece. Ultimately I am satisfied with this thing, I just think I might have to buy a cheapy used version so I could transform it and display it in my man cave. If you want one, buy one. Period.

3000 Dollars later and I can't ride this awesome motorbike to work
I spent 3000 dollars plus what I thought was a great deal on shipping. Because, after all, I figured I was getting a full-sized transforming motorbike with an instructor. For 3000 dollars it's not like you would get just a little toy, right?Well to my surprise the motorbike was too small for me - bear in mind I'm not super tall. But eventually I figured out how to balance on it like a circus clown but then the motorbike wouldn't move. I pressed these colorful buttons and nothing happened. The cause? No engine! I asked my armored instructor for assistance, he had such a cool helmet I figured he knew what was going on. But his responses were stiff and silent. So now I'm stuck with a 3000 dollar motorbike and useless instructor - at least I don't have to feed him - and on top of that the laser guns and missile launchers don't blow anything up.The upside? That 3000 dollars I spent won't go to waste supporting my Fabrige egg addiction.Liam H Dooley[...]
