Bought for running 5k amp
I went this direction rather than upgrading the alternator which would have been more than double the price of this cap. Did big 3 (really 4) upgrade. Have 1 battery under the hood, and a 2nd xs power battery next to the cap behind driver. At full tilt never drops below 12. Plus when starting forester it turns the engine so fast. I'm sure this is going to extend the life of both batteries, the starter, the alternator- anything electrical in my car. Never had to use the jump feature even listening to music with engine off for way too long with just 2 batteries- always starts right up. Can't believe these aren't more popular in the audio world, I think ppl just don't full understand them. I'll be installing this in any of my vehicles from now on, with or without subs in the back just a smart electrical upgrade worth way more than what these sell for

Seems to work well, light aren't dimming on +4k watts
I have not clamped power draw to see the difference but happy so far. I also added and run a Mighty Max 100ah AGM in parallel with this. Jeff Dealer, @DickersonAudioDesigns

Can cause smoke/fire in vehicles
Item has recalls with the NTSHA. Item can cause smoke and/or fire. Bought Item not knowing. Then had to pay over $70 to ship the item back. Was a total waste of my money. Which in these times is very scarce.....Do not recommend buying for any reason..

So I threw the box away thinking I’d have no issues!
So I got my new Ustart capacitor hooked it up thinking I’d have more power and after getting it all set up I turned my truck off and came back a little later on and tried to start my truck up thinking it’d be great and my truck wouldn’t start. So I unhooked the capacitor and my truck started right up! So that was my issue!!
