Touching, quirky and fun
I didn't get to see this at the cinema and really wanted to - both Channing Tatum and Rachael McAdams in one film? I knew it was going to be beautiful to watch! I pre-ordered the dvd so that I would get it as soon as it was released, and watched it as soon as it arrived. I have to say that after all my excitement I was slightly disappointed. It in't your typical RomCom - it is more emotionally deep than I'd expected and I wasn't wholey satisfied with the ending. It stops just short of being a real tear-jerker. However Tatum and McAdam's acting is goreous to watch and the script is brilliant - touching, quirky and fun. Once I knew what to expct I watched it again and really enjoyed it a whole lot more!!

One of my favourite movies
I love this film. It’s one of the few movies I can watch over and over again. I’ve watched it with so many people and I now enjoy watching friends and family fall in love with this movie too. Wholesome, romantic, emotional, perfect!

Brilliant film - watched and enjoyed many times!
A heartwarming film for anyone who enjoys a romance or good tear-jerker. A film that can be watched over and over. Brilliant acting. Loved it and would recommend.

A bit disappointing
I had read all the hype and favourable reviews about this movie and was expecting something outstanding, but sad to say it did not live up to it. The acting was very good with Rachel McAdams as lovely as always - but one thing was missing... if my memory serves me correctly, it wasn't until about 2/3rds of the way through the movie that Leo got around to telling Paige that he loved her! "I love you" are three of the most important words that a woman likes to hear a man say to her. I kept telling leo "Come on man - tell her that you love her" but he never heard me! Perhaps I didn't shout loud enough! LOL. Even the ending seemed a bit weak. The main message for me, is that if you make a vow, then come what may, you do everything in your power to keep that vow. This is something that is sadly missing in todays world as seen by the high divorce rates.

A chick flick with a dark edge
I thought this film would be an average chick flick where a couple in a relationship went through some kind of crisis and then they eventually married. This is not your average love story and it really highlights how life can change within a split second. Having said that, the film made me both laugh and cry and I would definitely recommend it. My boyfriend enjoyed it too and he hates chick flicks as a rule! Great acting too. A must see!
