PME TT460 Tilting Turntable 14 x 23 cm, White

I bought this turntable to help me ice cakes more professionally and it is a great product!The mechanism is smooth and there is a good edge to grip for spinning cakes while working on them. The soft top grips cake boards well and doesn't allow them to slide around. Sturdy and will be used for years to come!Easy to clean as it just needs wiped with a hot cloth (can't be submerged in water).I have not needed to use the tilting setting yet, but it is easy to convert to and seems like it would work well for detail decorating.

After buying a cheaper turntable previously which turned out a waste of money I am very pleased with this PME Multi Purpose Tilting Turntable. Easy to use and has a none slip surface on the top which works really well The only area which I am disappointed with is the base which should have also had a none slip surface so tends to move a bit. However, this was resolved by placing a none slip mat underneath.

A lot more sturdy than I was expecting which is nice. The mechanism for how the top tilts doesn't feel like it's about to snap off at any point. The base of the top is sort of like mousemat material, which isn't necessarily the easiest thing to clean But it does hold on to the cake well and doesn't let it slide around.

Pleased I bought this. It is sturdy and the top rotates to give you an easy angle to pipe or decorate your cakes. I covered the top with clingfilm as it easily marked and left marks from the piping I did. Other than that it was s great buy and I use it all the time.

I have to say I'm not a great fan of this turntable to me it's fine if your left handed because when I put buttercream or ganache on I turn my table to the right. With this one when you turn to the right it starts to tilt so you have to use your scrapper in your left hand and turn your table to the left which isn't an natural action for me. I have to say the tilt is brilliant when you are decorating your cakes just a little hard to get used to. Or maybe I'm doing it completely wrong if anyone can advise me that would be great

Very versatile. Use it alot for decorating wedding and birthday cakes and the non slip surface works great even when tilted

I usually ignore negative reviews especially if the majority are positive but I do not like using this at all and wish I'd listened to those negative reviews! I make cakes as a side job so needed something lasting. The non slip surface is just a hindrance to clean and ripped on first use due to using internal supports on a cake (it's like foam), it tilts when you are just trying to turn which results in a non smooth finish. The tilting function adds nothing to it never needed before and don't need now. Sometimes going basic is better my cheap Home Bargains one is superior!

I had priced this turntable up in various other places and this was by far the best price. It is brilliant for cake decorating and it is an absolute must for anyone who is decorating cakes for hobbies or a business.
