Monster THX Certified 1000HDX High Speed HDMI Cable (16 Feet)

The Price, the value...yeah...you cant beat it....and at 16ft. This cable can support up to 16gbps+ data. So for those looking for whatis at HDMI 1.4 compliant, yeah, these are the ones to get (if you need 16ft). I have my TV far from the receiver, so I needed HDMI cablesthat would reach without any problems. The product came in quick, and I have these bad boys connected.Just FYI for those that are not sure about HDMI cables, just know that if you go cheap with the HDMI, you may be limited with the quility.All new LCD/LED panels are atleast HDMI 1.3 due to the amount of data needed for the 120hz+. Also, for those that want to experience TrueHD losslessaudio (bitstreamed), you need 1.3 HDMI cables (assuming you have a receiver that is 1.3 compliant). If you have an older receiver that onlyhas HDMI 1.1-1.2, then these cables may be overkill.Overall, these are high quality cables that are perfect for the 3D panels and high end receivers.

I've never heard of an HDMI cable that is "directional" but this one is and if you don't have it running the right way it won't work. That is not the reason I rated this lower than other cables I have bought. The reason is because the ends are out of tolerance and on the small side so it flops around both on my receiver and display. All my other cables fit well but this one practically falls out if you move anything around. Def not worth the money and I can't tell the difference between the picture with this cable and the $2 Amazon special.

Oooook I'm sold on the monster name! I bought 3 different kinds (x2 of each kind) for all of my "4K" tvs and devices! The to bedroom tvs Got the monster cables on, I can actually notice an improvement in sound and picture quality! Not a super whole lot but it is there! Originally had the cables supplied by the tv manufacturers (Sony &LG)

With everything going to 4K video transfer this 1080 cable is THX certified for throwaway prices. I originally paid $150 for a lesser cable five years ago. If I require more (and I have) I will be back here as necessary.

Had this for ~2 years. Fine at first, hooked up to my GPU running to a monitor far from my desktop. Never allowed the full 60hz (Not the monitor because it worked before), after a while it started to get crackly. Random static on monitor, fixed by moving cable.In the end, would i buy it again, no. It did what I needed for 2 years, so I guess I cant complain too much

Just as described, I use it for 4k gaming and i have no black screens or stutters or tears. Great deal for a Monster cable too
