I have been using 3s Huawei rooter and data plan as it was twice as fast as my landline data speed which was appalling ,the speed would be ok during the week and die off at the weekend as more people were at home and then covid 19 happened and it died on its feet altogether .I knew where the transmitter was and was able to get a bearing from google maps and decided to purchase this aerial as it had good reviews and a longer cable which i needed to reach my rooter ,the aerial comes with a bracket to mount to a pole and two terminated cables which fit the sockets on the rooter that the supplied rabbit ears antennas screw into ,In my case the performance was immediate it doubled my internet speed straight away and now i have a constant signal all the time and can stream happily even at weekends so very happy .

Living in a very bad EE signal area where I cant even use my mobile phone I was left with only one option and that was 3 network. After shocking service and no signal I thought Id give put my EE sim in my Huawei B525 router. It was only giving 1 bar and 3mb down with another external antenna. As a last resort I bought this antenna and a 7m flag pole from Amazon. Fitted it up and aimed it at my nearest mast which is blocked by buildings, then used the onboard feature on the B525 to aim the antenna. Well now I have 5 bars and 4G+ giving me 50mb down and 30mb up. Well happy and a brilliant bit of kit.

As we live in the country the internet is diabolical , with bt we get about 4meg download on a good day. I saw the reviews of this and thought it’s worth a try , nothing ventured nothing gained.I had a rough idea where our nearest mast is situated and aimed this in the general direction. I bought a Huawei B525s as that was the best review for the modem. Connected it up which was really easy and popped in my EE SIM card from my phone to try it and wow 58meg download via Ethernet , and high 40’s on WiFi , No more buffering on films .

Fitted this due to me only being able to get a very weak signal with downLoad speed of 2 and upload speed of 1.5Within a few minutes I was achieving 60 download speed and 14 upload speed.Very happy with product- excellent bit of kit

Firstly I should state I've been a electronics engineer for over 35 years and dealing with comms systems for over 30 years.Currently setting up a 5 point video linked comms system (Zoom) via GSM in response to post Covid-19 working requirements. I have purchased this antenna alongside similar items from other manufacturers such as Poynting, along with routers from TP-link, Netgear and Huawei (used 5 identical vodafone data sims) to extensively test configurations / options in a real world scenario. Long story short - all cheap antennas usually work worse than a routers own antenna if placed near a window with signal. This antenna does work but has a very narrow window in which it performs well - it hates TP-Link and Netgear Routers as well as some Huawei models, also does not react well to cable extension. When in its best configuration I found it is still no better than the similar Poynting unit. I contacted the supplier for help or refund and received back a very rude message that dismissed my observations as 'false' - really! The Poynting unit is slightly more expensive but performance window is much broader and works with all routers tested and is unphased by adding 15m extension cables, also Poynting built quality is far superior and brackets are strong and fully stainless steel - this antenna uses zinc bolts and a thin aluminium bracket.I have requested refund and sent the unit back - not feeling confident about getting a refund.Working with 4G/LTE signals is far from straightforward and so my advice is buy only Amazon direct supply items so the returns/refund process is efficient and worry free if needed - hope this helps.

Brilliant antenna, works better if you have a rough idea where your nearest mast is and place it on that side of the house (we did have a play about in other rooms first and this did make a big difference)Our 4G connection went from 7mb to over 25mb with this device - and the antenna is just up against the dining room window (on the window sill) for now!!Cutting down the tree in the garden boosted it to 35..I can't wait to put it on the external mast near the roof apex- looking at 40 once fitted.Fabulous device..FYI we have a huawei B525 router with the external aerial option selected.Edit - fast forward to 2022 and it's roof mounted - 65mb average... superb!

The antenna didn't work. Cannot say exactly down to what, but had inconclusive tests trying different directions. Spent lots times on that.I was disappointment with the customer service as they deducted 30£ as they found a scretch on the antenna and also had to pay myself for posting back. It was not a plesant experience.

Greatly improved my download mobile signal and massively improved upload from 0.5mbs to 10mbs! I will be buying a second unit for another property. Like any aerial it is important to aim at the best local mast using the provider that gives best local performance. In my case (after first trialing others) that is EE.
