I ordered the Rich Brown color. It's not the typical chocolate brown most companies offer. This is more of a brown / black. It's deep enough not to appear brown like milk chocolate color, but not as harsh as black can be. I'd prefer not to have to sharpen an eye pencil, but I will say Julep's sharpeners do work well, better than many. A lot of pencils irritate my eyes but this doesn't. It's also matte with no shimmer or sparkle, which I like and it stays all day. Sometimes pencils dry out before I've used them up. If that happens, I'll update my review.

Love the dark teal & easy to apply. It rubbed off a bit on my eye crease the first time I tried it so I put on some powder before applying the next time & it lasted all day perfectly. Great for those days when I don’t feel like fussing with liquid liners.

It’s impossible to get a sheer coat on waterline and it causes a glare in my vision. ONCE YOU PUT IT ON IT STAYS PUT!

This is a beautiful, flattering color and the product does last a long time once you have it on your eyes but I find that I am always sharpening this pencil and going through a lot of product - the tip is VERY small and you have to sharpen a lot to get a usable length and point. Color and texture are great.

The holy grail! I I have sensitive eyes. I can’t find long lasting eyeliner. Urban Decay is the best I’ve tried so far. This is better and half the price. I could tell immediately when I used it this was the real deal! Just ordered a second one. I never write reviews, but I deeply sympathize with anyone looking for a good, long lasting eyeliner.

Really love this pencil even though I hesitated because it was so large. Not a problem, however. You can make a narrow line like any thin pencil or use it like shadow. Love the versatility.Sharpens with a regular large opening pencil liner sharpener

Pretty color, but doesn’t stay

After spending a small fortune on eyeliners that say they don’t transfer finally one that doesn’t I’ll probably buy extra in case it gets discontinued which often happens when I find a product I like

I use gel eyeliners and with every single eyeliner sharpener I use I have to freeze the pencils first and even then it's not guaranteed I'll get a nice point or that the sharpener won't fray the wood. But this little beauty does exactly what it says on the tin! I tried sharpening my pencil without freezing first and it worked perfectly. There's a little stick to clean the blade after use and I love the shape of this sharpener! Definitely will buy again.

It was a nice colour but not in the least long lasting. I lined my upper lid (above the lashes, not waterline) and within 1 hour it had smeared beneath my eye. I do not have greasy eyelids and had no moisturiser or eye cream on my eyes. Returned immediately.

Goes on smoothly without distressing the eyelid. My brown colour was vibrant but not too overpowering.Don't know what will happen when I need to sharpen it.

I did some research to find a eye liner that stayed on and didn't smudge after a hour or so... this works, amazing. Stays on doesn't run/smudge.

The "shimmer'" aspect of the name of the colour must be noted as once on the skin isn't as bold as I'd hoped. Otherwise a quality product.
