Quality item but base clamp lets it down badly!
Good quality item, but too expensive for what it is! The clamp base is also terrible - it takes the Cajon off the ground, making it rock from side to side! Bad design in my opinion, and it woudn't have taken much thought to make an evenly distributed base with soft feet pads!

All good so far!!
Read lots of reviews for cajon bass pedals with flexible connections and they were all bad, so having found this one that someone else gave a good write up I was part hesitant. But no need - got a good deal on it with a hefty reduction for it being "shop soiled" - but nothing wrong with it at all. The only thing I found wrong was the puller on the zip on the case was broken. A minor irritant but really not a problem. The unit is easy to assemble, and gives a good solid bass beat on the cajon leaving hands free for other patterns (or even playing guitar). Plenty of scope for variation of the position of the beater, and no sign yet of any mechanical problems. The unit was delivered slightly ahead of the time promised. So all in all, a happy bunny.

Sturdy, compact, does the job well
Having spent ages looking at various options I opted for this compact 'direct drive' cajon pedal (too many scare stories about cables breaking mid-gig!). So far so good, easy to put up and use and creates a nice sound. Good quality, certainly feels like it will stand the test of time. It would be five stars but for the fact that I feel it's probably a little over-priced. But hey, how often will you buy one of these?!

Pedal excellent, user needs some training!
The pedal looks and feels well made and sturdy with lots of adjustments to get the sound you like. The carry bag seems ok, but it's early days.I just need to work out the best way to use it, Toe, Heel, Left leg/Right leg. So far Left heel seems to be best for me.

Does the Job
Absolutely great, only downside is no instructions at all...fortunately the bass player is an engineer and sussed it straight away whilst taking the piss!...who’d have thought it, a bass player with a sense of humour

Doesn't last
I was happy with this pedal until tonight when the bolt sheared that holds the bar connecting to the pedal. I have a gig on Saturday so hopefully I can get a replacement bolt.
