Excellent guide to modelling. A bit intimidating though. Shackleton has years of experience and really good equipment to work with - multiple high end airbrushes, etc. That said he does a good job of explaining the principles as well as offering some simpler ways to get good effects.

Nice book with plenty of pictures of the different stages of each weathering project to help you work on your own models.A nice addition to the library.

Arrived within the time parameters and well packaged. An interesting book which details in simple terms how tom do the job described on the cover. Will be obtaining other books in the series.

The book contains very good guidelines for weathering your rolling stock, supported by lots of pictures.

I was a bit disappointed. He only dealt with relatively sophisticated techniques, using expensive tools. I felt that he was a professional modelmaker, talking to other professional modelmakers. However, there is a lot of useful information about how coaches and wagons deteriorate while in service. It was worthwhile getting the book, simply for that.
