Brilliant device for dieting
I've been using this every day since I bought it, it's fantastic. I've been cooking burgers, sausages and chicken to perfection - they cook so quickly! It's very roomy, nowhere near 10 real portions as they advertise, maybe 7 or so, but it's more than enough for us. The only drawback is if you have the plastic drip tray too close to the device, the top of the drip tray can start to melt. The first day I had it we smelled something a bit 'plasticy', I put it down to the device being brand new, but it was the top of the drip tray. It only caused very minor damage, a tiny little dent on the top of the tray, but the smell it gave off gave me a headache.

Best Piece of Kitchen Equipment I Own
Probably the most used item in my kitchen. I'm not sure I agree with the sizes they give on George Foreman Grills, I got this to replace a '3 Portion Grill' which I would say is closer to 1 portion and this '10 portion' I would say is more like 6. Saying that it does depend what you are cooking, I use it for all sorts, great for chicken, veg, steak, even sandwiches. You can get sponges with grooves specifically for cleaning this but I bought one of the sponges with the handles you can fill with washing up liquid. I don't fill it but having the handle means you can clean the grill when it's hot and everything scrubs off so easily that way.

Nothing special really
I bought the George Foreman large 10 portion grill as I recently got a new cooker and I found grilling and frying really made such a mess of my old one and this would save time and would be healthier as the fat drains away into the drip tray provided.First the good points: it is a good size, it cooks quickly and is reasonably easy to clean. It was a very good price here on Amazon and I got what I paid for. I would not have been happy with it for the much higher price tag I have seen it selling for elsewhere.Bad points :It is very basic, The grill plates get very hot and you cannot control the temperature in any way. The food on the middle of the plates cook faster than the food at the front and sides so you do have to move food around to try to get it cooked evenly. It is recommended that you use the tilt option when grilling meat but sausages being round just slide forward and roll off so that is hopeless! The drip tray sits in front but gets moved whilst turning food etc so always have to re adjust it. It is guesswork how long things take to cook and my sausages were catching and burning on the outside before being fully cooked through. It is not easy to move about as there is no handle and all in all, it is just very plastic. I wish I had done some research on other brands of grill as I would have paid more for a sturdier model with temperature controls.

Love George Foreman grills!!
Love George Foreman grills!! This is my second, as I dropped my previous one. This time I have upgraded to a 10 portion - although I think that is exaggerated a little!! Probably only 7-8 portions will fit comfortably onto the machine, but it cooks superbly, and everything that I grill on it tastes lovely. It can be a bit fiddly to clean, but I find that a damp sponge (used very carefully!) when the grill is still hot removes most of the residue before it has a chance to set or burn onto the plates. Highly recommended for anyone who likes grilled food - especially chicken. It cooks chicken breasts wonderfully, and any fat or grease drips straight into the tray below.

very good, could be excellent
Really really like this grill, but i don't love it. We use it almost daily to grill vegetables and meat with, especially we love to make home made grilled kebabs with it. My only gripe i do not like the top part of the grill which tends to be hard to clean and cakes itself in carbon easily which in turn can put little burnt flakes on your food if your not lucky so we tend to just use the base for cooking as the none-stick seems to be of a higher quality. Anywho, regardless of how you use it, getting your meat or fish cooked with as little fat as possible in can only be a good thing for your health, but you can also do naughty treats on them and make a cheese toastie.. its that versatile.

super low fat cooking machine!
Fab item for any family! We are a family of 4 and this is perfect for us! Can cook meat, fish, toasted sandwiches and even fruit or veg! All healthy as fat drains away during cooking. Recommended!

Wewould never be without our George!
We love our G.Forman grill we have gone from the small one to the medium and now this one, They are great they cook food so well and fast !! no fat it!! drains away into the tray provided. I can't fault them in any way at all. it just takes a little trial and error untill you get used to them, but for us Pork chops only takes 3 minutes and acording to size of course, chicken thighs in 9 minutes again the size will vary in the time you cook them, we always test with a scewer or meat thermometer untill we got used to the grill but we would never be without one in our home. Great now we are long in the tooth at 68 years plus. good food without the fuss!!!Thank you George !!!!
