Read instructions and tested the best I could - appears to work
You should read the instructions and familiarize yourself with the device and various sized masks.YOU MUST USE THE RIGHT SIZED mask and hold it tightly on the face of the choking victim. NOTE the device plunger should be down as you do not want to PUSH more air into the victim....Once TIGHTLY SEALED to the face, QUICKLY PULL THE PLUNGER UP...then, remove from face and check it for debris, AND TO PUSH THE PLUNGER BACK DOWN, so you can do this again. I tried it on myself and it DEFINITELY SUCKS the air right out of you, but remember, I was awake and probably resisted more than a choking victim would. Therefore, I think it will work AS WELL AS I can do it correctly! Therefore, it's best to have it available, than have nothing...especially if YOU are the victim and you are alone.

SAVED MY DADS LIFE TONIGHT!
I keep this around where he eats and made sure I had the right mouth piece for my elderly dad. Tonight he choked on a steak and it saved his life. This really works god bless this company for this product! 🙏

UN-USED and happy about it
I haven't used and I hope to never use this airway assist device. I have opened it, tried the face mask on for fit and read the instructions a few times to sink in. I placed the device in an easy to reach place in my kitchen for an emergency. Personally, I opted for the manual device, so I never have to worry about checking to be sure the unit is charged in the event it is ever needed. No worse time to realize you didn't charge a rechargeable device.

Not a life saving device
Use life vac it’s easier to use . Crazy this is $30! The grease inside had dried out and you couldn’t pull or push the plunger no matter what! Wouldn’t have been able to save anyone cause it couldn’t be used! Thankfully I tested it out! And both purchased were that way.

Hopefully, I’ll never have to use it, but it seems like a quality product

Amazing suction
I haven't had to use this for real yet (Thank goodness). When testing, the suction is powerful and will take your breath away. It will probably be able to put the obstruction out. The kit has multiple sizes of masks for finding the best fit. I would recommend for school cafeterias and day care centers.
