Item arrived early and better than expected great buy thank you

Ok firstly I have no problem with the quality of the product. There are two things I do have a problem with.First one being flitting the filters, thier are two ridges on the inside of the rubber ring, the reason the filters don't fit in to these is they're not lent to the filters go into the head of the torch and you simply and gently push the ring onto the torch, the two ridges fit inside the rim of the torch and hold the filter in place. Why they cant put a couple of diagrams showing this is beyond me.Secondly, what really grinds my gears. The filters came rolled up in a slither of tissue in a small plastic zip bag. These are glass filters about 1mm thick, how the he'll you're supposed to carry them without destroying them is a mystery to me and for the money you pay it would not be beyond the realms to expect a hard plastic case for them! The sort of thing you can get for coins.

After reading 2 others reviews i was originally put off from ordering these filters, I attempted DIY filters i.e sweat wrappers etc but was not ideal for long nights in the field.My new filters have just arrived and for the first 5 mins I was finding the glass filters very hard to fit into the plastic holder which slots over the torch, but once I'd figured out how to install I can do it in seconds with no issues.Just insert one side of the filter into holder and place your thunb and index finger on each of the filter in the centre to prevent it snapping, whilst holding in position pull the holder downwards with other hand and the filter drops into position.The holder fits perfect over the P7 and I'm very happy with purchase, even if the glass filter "did" break I would still be happy with the holder and just purchase some coloured photography paper.

It took me ages to work out why the lenses won't snap into position in the collar - they are not supposed to!They are simply held in place between the collar and the torch... it would have been helpful if the instructions made this clear. It makes them slightly fiddly to switch over, and they are a tiny bit loose once in place, but they work fine in other respects.

Bought 2 sets one for a P7.2 gun kit and the other for a L7. They arrived quickly. Fit easily once you get the right technique. And because the filters are made of glass its easier to keep clean than plastic. Some type of pouch instead of being wrapped in tissue paper would have been better but at the price you can't complain.

Item arrived fast, well packed no probs there.The problem is that you get four small round glass lenses, which you have to manually insert the lens holder, which then fits over your light / torch. Getting glass discs into the holder is very fiddly. I broke one as they are very fragile (resulting in glass splinters in my finger!) I tried lubing the holder and the discs but still no joy. To date I have not got the discs into the holder.I have now resorted to buying separate sheets of coloured stage / photography tinted plastic filter sheets, which I can cut done to size and use in the holder.The holder is good, inserting the glass discs is very hard, hence the low score.

It does what it says on the tin really, changing the colour of light coming from the torch. I personally bought this to do some interesting things with astrophotography, which it does. However I do find it quite difficult to install the different coloured glass lenses into the plastic holder. Other than that minor gripe I'm pretty happy with the item.

Its good, and does what it needs to do, my only gripe is that the filters aren't held securely in place. The design is a bit off - it needs to include a seating area for the filter.
