I ended up buying the purple, red and black. Good combo, and gives plenty of alternative resistances (either by themselves or pairing a couple of bands together).They do work, and are especially good for “pulling” exercises (back and biceps) which are otherwise difficult to hit with body weight exercises.Good for travelling too. I popped them in my kitbag for a hiking holiday recently, and was able to still do a good resistance workout at the end of each day.They seem to retain their elasticity well. They do lose a tiny bit of elasticity as you use them on your workout (only a tiny bit), but that seems to return every time for their next use.I’ve managed to build strength and muscle with them - combined with watching my diet and a bit of gentle cardio, theses resistance bands have made a real visible difference to my physique.I’d say that if you want to build some significant muscle mass, you need free weights at a gym / home gym. But if you are after getting some definition and lean muscle, you can do so with these resistance bands (plus watching your diet - don’t forget, it’s 70% diet; 20% exercise; 10% genetics!)
