Extremely Pleased with TECKNET!
I selected this particular TECKNET mouse because I am familiar with the quality of this brand. I purchased a TECKNET mouse 9 years ago based on the reviews at that time (and because I wanted "purple" which wasn't so popular then). Over the course of 9 years my original mouse was used for many hours on a daily basis. While it does still work, I've noticed I'm having to click more than once to select something and I decided it was time to replace it. I immediately came back to TECKNET to see what was available and was delighted they are still going strong and getting great reviews. Plus, not only did they have my beloved "purple" option, this is also touted having "quiet clicks which was extremely appealing! Upon arrival I popped in 2 AAA batteries, plugged in the tiny USB receiver and I was good to go.This mouse looks and feels identical to my original one. This design and size is a perfect fit for my hand and it's really comfortable to use. I do appreciate the silent clicks but noticed the back and forward buttons are not silent which was a bit of let down but certainly not enough to return it. Also, while my prior mouse did have a DPI button I was never aware of it's existence or it's purpose. Given this touts 4000 DPI with 6 levels of adjustability I decided to see what the hype was about. I didn't see any detail in the instructions that explained this so I searched online. Once I understood what the button actually does I tried it out and was amazed at what a great feature this is! I'm extremely pleased with TECKNET, I appreciate the quality and number of excellent features included at an excellent price point.

Worked GREAT!!!!
After using a Name Brand mouse for well over 5 years, it started getting flaky. Ordered this mouse as replacement it works flawlessly. Plug and Play no more trying to locate the cursor or sporatic issue. WOULD buy again

long-lasting battery, works perfectly
I am so, so happy with this mouse. I use it all the time for design work and occasionally for gaming, and have found no issues with it as far as response, connectivity, or anything of the sort. It is also truly silent, so if I'm playing Sudoku in a tight lecture room, I'm not going to bother anyone with the constant clicking. If I had to have one complaint, the USB attachment seems to be a little bit looser than most. For the most part I haven't had issues and haven't lost the USB adapter at all, but if I shake my backpack more than usual, it sometimes come dislodged from the mouse. This doesn't worry me too much because the USB itself seems to have been made out of a sturdy material that I haven't noticed any bending of.

It works plus some.
It took some getting used to. It goes dormant rather quickly and requires an extra click often. It has some extra buttons that also take some thought and have caused me errors. Fancy!

I LOVE THIS MOUSE!
I truly didn't expect much when I ordered this mouse. For the price, it seemed too good to be true. I had tested out some more expensive options at Staples and ended up deciding to try this one before I took the plunge on a more expensive mouse. But I'm thrilled with this mouse! It far exceeded any hopes that I had. It's the perfect size; it sits perfectly in my palm and the hand position doesn't irritate my carpal tunnel symptoms. I use it all day every day and it's great! It responds quickly, glides easily, and the click is just SO SATISFYING - almost soundless. I thought I loved my wireless keyboard, but now the keyboard keys feel chintzy in comparison to my new mouse. The scroll bar works great and the back and forward buttons on the side of the mouse are a nice, helpful feature. The batteries seem like they'll last a long time. When I walk away from my desk and come back, it seems to go to sleep, but I need only click once to wake it up. What else can I say? I just really love this mouse!

Good mouse
Great mouse. It lasted a whole year and 1/2. Then it started getting noisier & wouldn't pair anymore.

Doesn't perform well enough for general use
This mouse would be perfect in everything a cheap silent mouse is bought for, except for the lag. This thing is unusable.I used this thing for a week, as I specifically needed a quiet mouse, like totally silent would be ideal. However I stopped using it altogether and cannot recommend it to anyone for any use because it's laggy. Anytime I use it, even just for simple browsing and school work, it skips all around the screen.I ran some software to monitor it's latency, and the thing routinely dropped super low and would jump all around the screen; I get that it's less than 10 bucks, but it's hardly usable for just browsing online, let alone any tasks that would require some form of dexterity. So, naturally I looked online for drivers from Teknet to see if they have any support for this thing, maybe the driver is outdated and could use an update, Teknet indeed has a website with drivers for their mouses, but not this one! They don't have anything for it at all, and there wasn't any 3rd party drivers I could see anyone else recommending for it.Evidently, I don't like battery powered wireless mice, the batteries die in about a week, and the wireless 'feature' made this mouse laggy and unusable. This just happened to be the only silent mouse that was reasonably cheap. The clicks are indeed dead silent with a little bit of haptic feedback and feel great, so I pulled the switches out of mine and put them in a mouse that I own that functions way better.Overall, I wouldn't buy this thing, Teknet doesn't have software support for it, and mine hardly functioned as a basic mouse. If you need a truly silent mouse, you can buy a cheap wired mouse and custom silent switches for less than even this incredibly cheap mouse.
