Bartoline Teak Oil 5L

Excellent value, does the job as well as you'd expect

Used this as much cheaper than well known brands from DIY superstores. I am not sure that the product has the staying power of the what-it-says-on-the-tin brands. I had finished off a big brand before using this and the former seemed to leave a bit of a coating on the wood. This one...well I suspect there is an awful lot of Bartoline turps in there and little oil. I think you could clean brushes in it. It certainly goes a long way but so would pure turps. Wear a mask/respirator if doing a lot as I did, and don't consider doing it indoors. I used it in fairly windy weather but my lungs still took a few days to get over it.

Great oil, does the job just fine. Better price than anywhere else and great delivery time. I will be ordering more soon. Thank you.

Second 5 litre one bought for garden shed good product

I used this for garden gates and hardwood garden furniture. It is easy to apply because it is very thin; it is basically turps, but it does seem to do the job of creating a water-proof surface. The furniture is still water repellent after a few weeks, but I will have to wait to see how long it lasts.
