Simple, effective, and well worth it
If you’re looking for something fancy, this isn’t for you. This is old school simple. Add rice. Add water. Push down the the cook tab. Wait for switch to pop up. Done. The nice thing about this is the size. If you need to make a lot of anything, the pot is huge and will make it easy to make large quantities.I noticed a few reviews complaining about uncooked rice but that might be lack of reading the directions thoroughly. It is somewhat confusing because the ratio is 1:1 of rice to water. So you add however many cups of rice and then you fill with water to the correct number line on inside of pot. But in the directions it says to use the included cup(which is actually less than a real cup). So I’m guessing people may be putting actual measured cups of rice which would end up with insufficient water to cook rice correctly.I’ve used many times and rice is always perfectly cooked. Big bonus for me is that the pot has a huge lip that extends over side of actual heating element part - no more mess. The only part needing cleaning is the removable pot. I previously used a10 cup aroma that was messy and cleanup was always a hassle.Did I mention this is huge? Perfect for making big batches of rice pudding/ plenty of room for the extra ingredients. If you can do without the bells and whistles and need something big, this is perfect. FYI the directions come with a time chart so you have a idea how long it will take to cook- just set a timer on your iPhone and walk away. Thats what I do!

My favorite rice cooker
Mine lasted 2 years. I used it like 300 of 365 days of the year. Lol. Literally though. It's a rare we don't make rice around here. I'm actually buying another one right now.

Broke Within a Month
Update after 1 monthThe heating element stopped working and the front panel lights no longer light up. Something burned out. This rice cooker is really poor quality and cannot handle the US electric outlets. Don't buy this rice cooker. Spend your money on a more reliable cooker.----------------------------------------------From the bad reviews of this rice cooker, you should know this cooker is only designed to cook white rice. If you want to cook brown rice, get a different cooker that actually has a setting to cook brown rice. This cooker only has 1 setting, white rice! This cooker also has an open steam vent, not a pressurized opening steam vent. This means you lose a lot of heat and water while cooking. For my sushi rice, I use a 2 cups of rice to 3 cups of water mix ratio. It comes out fine. I have noticed if I use any less amount of water, the rice comes out dry. You should use this 2:3 ratio when you first cook with this rice cooker so you don't waste time with dry rice. In addition, do not add any seasoning or other grains to the white rice. These additions take heat away from the rice so that it doesn't fully cook. The only thing I add is salt, which dissolves in the water. When the cooker switches from "Cook" to "Warm", the white rice is not actually fully cooked yet; so wait another 10-minutes after it changes to "Warm" for the rice to finish cooking. Finally, don't let the "32-Cup" capacity fool you. All rice cookers follow the rice industry standard of 1 rice cup is equal to 3/4 US cup. You can thank the Japanese for this since they were the first to make automatic rice cookers, and they chose this odd measurement. As a result, the capacity of this cooker is actually 24 US Cups, which comes to 12 US Cups of uncooked rice by design. However, you should not cook to this maximum amount because the cooked rice will overflow the lid. I cooked 10 US cups with this cooker, and the cooked rice reached within 1/2 inches of the lid. I don't dare cook more than 10 US cups.As for some bad reviews for burnt and sticking rice, if you use that 2:3 ratio and clean the pot that day, the cooked rice will not be burnt or stick to the pot. Of course, I wash my pot in the dishwasher with Finish to rinse off any hard water stains. This cooker will cook your rice if you cook within its design.

correction
update May 02, 2019: About 5 months of use the cooker stop working on late April. Forget about repair shipping to Aroma and then another $15 payable to Aroma for return shipping. It was a good cooker for about 5 months until it stop working. the cook keep jump to warm instead of stay one cook.------------------------We eat rice everyday, and personally I love this rice cooker. Here we go:Pro:1. The price is Cheap, I would still buy it if they charge me $60.2. The design is easy to use and it does the job, cook a perfect rice3. Nice big capacity, hold 13 cups perfectly and that's what I need.4. Easy to move from kitchen table to my dinner table. Just simple design5. Cleaning is easy.6. I can see my rice while it cook, I learn to adjust the water for my rice. took me twice to perfect my rice, but at the end it a perfect rice for my family.Corn: non!Things to look for while using this product:1. Test cooking your rice for a couple days to find the balance of water and rice mix2. The capacity wouldn't hold up to 15 cups of rice, it is too full. 13-14 cups max3. Make sure you let your rice steam for a good 20-30min after the switch jumped. it wasn't ready to eat when it jump, so make sure prep your time correctly.4. You will get some yellow on the bottom of the pant, but it's all right sth to expect for this type of cooker. user the right amount of water and rice is what you need to explore for the balance.5. Don't scrub it with sth that might have remove the coding. let it seat with water for a good 30mimn before you clean the pod.

Simple & Reliable
I love this product. It's one of those tried and true staples when you're batch cooking. I use it when I make my dogs' food and it makes the whole process a BREEZE. Cooking chicken in bulk in a 'set it and forget it' format takes a lot of the stress out of the process.
