Great knife
Bob Kramer is a famous knife maker and he has collaborated with Miyabi/Zwilling to create a beautiful Japanese chef's knife. I really am impressed with the craftsmanship of the knife and how sharp it is. My only minor quibble is that the handle is abit large for my spouse. Otherwise, it is a beautiful and well made knife.

Wow! My new forever knife.
I bought a Carbon 2.0 Kramer and was disappointed with the quality and returned it. I saw this for a good price and figured I would try one last time for a Kramer. Excellent knife! Super well designed and balanced. The blade is gorgeous. I absolutely love it. It feels so good in my hands. It is lighter than it looks and is easy to use. Functional art.

Beautiful knife. Very expensive… worth it.
StainlessVery sharp, exceptionally sharpHolds an edge … for a long time.Purchased as a gift. I have 2 Kramer carbon steel knives… which are amazing… but require more maintenance than stainless.

Love kramer knives, this one is amazing.
This is my 3rd Kramer Knife. I started with the Kramer Essential Stainless (which isn't being made) and gave that to a friend. I thought the blade was a bit wide but it was still one of the best knives I've ever used. I bought a 10" Meiji but something was off with it. I was pretty disappointed with it overall and traded it for a watch.Fast forward to today, I'm getting the itch to start cooking again so I saw this on sale and pulled the trigger. I think the blade might've gotten a little thinner than previous models, which is a great thing. My favorite knife hands down out of all the knives I bought an used. If you have XXL hands, this is the perfect knife for you.

Nice looking knife
I never even used it. It had a chip in the blade right out of the box.

My favorite knives
As a former chef and currently just cooking around the house guy, I long used my Myabi Birchwood knives. I felt like they were some of the best knives available (non-custom, that is).And then I put this guy in my hand at a Williams-Sonoma store and fell in love. But I bought it here on Amazon to save a few bucks. This is a superb knife with excellent balance. The fit and finish are perfect, and the ebony handles are striking. I thought about getting the Santoku, but on balance I'm glad I got the wide chef instead. All the benefits of both if you ask me.The Damascus pattern is beautiful, and so far I've only had to use a ceramic hone a couple of times since I bought it about 2 months ago.Highly recommended.

Very Nice
Very beautiful knife. Razon sharp out of the box. The handle is good and pinch grip on blade when cutting is comfortable. The knife is more delicate the workhorse Zwilling chef so use it with care. I'm not sure about edge retention as I have not used it that long. Weight feels good but that is a personal preference. Downside, it's too wide to fitin my knife block except in the cleaver spot.

Smooth operator
This is such a beautiful piece of art that I find hard to describe. It Makes light work of prep in the kitchen. I don’t think about the expense of this work of art. It is certainly worth every dollar.
