I have really short nails and this nude/pale pink looks good, It's really just your own nails but a bit better and healthier looking. I've used a Saffron glitter top coat just for a bit shine, On its own Ballet Slippers is sheer with 1 coat and opaque with 3, I applied 3 coats. I like it because it doesn't chip and the colour is very pretty.

It's really pretty and glittery, the polish is quite good, definitely lasts a good week or two if you take the correct steps. Dries down properly quite slow even if you apply thin layers, although it does take a few cotton swabs to take off since it's pretty tough.I think I might just need to learn how to paint nails properly since it always comes out super streaky.

It is a fantastic polish nail. High recommended.

some fingers took 4 coats to look semi decent. pretty colour though.

I use ballet slipper as the white tip alongside madamoiselle in my french manicure. I’ve had my last bottle for ages (probably 3 years or so!) and it was starting to get thick and sticky, as if there were bits of cotton wool fibres in it. I ordered a little nervously as I saw one reviewer had a completely different shade delivered to her previous bottle, although I also noted that the top on that new bottle is also different to the previous one (whereas mine isn’t).Admittedly, the shade has undoubtedly changed, but not drastically, and if anything I actually prefer the newer one as it is just slightly more muted. I’ve attached pics to show. Please bear in mind that my old bottle is a very thick, sticky consistency so it will look a little different to the new, regardless. I hope this helps :o)
