This is not your typical "brush". It's a very soft silicone pad with brush-like surface. It's so soft that it's not as effective as a real brush. I had trouble removing a stubborn patch at the back of the tongue. My old brush would have removed it.This is not bad though. It does remove most of the lighter coatings. I'll give it points for not making me gag. I cannot stand those scrapers that dry out my tongue and make me gag.

I bought some other tongue scrubbers and made my tongue bleed. These are softer and I feel more safer using these.

Love these! I have been using a different one for many years and actually cut my tongue on it a few days, ago. These are much softer and still clean my tongue.

It’s not soft, pretty hard bristles. Doesn’t clean well on the curve, cause no flexibility there. Hard to clean the middle crease. Gotta press hard for it to do the job, not the most pleasant feeling. Brushes with short regular bristles work much better.
