Bob Martin Cat Litter Crystals 3.8 L (Pack of 4)

We've got two cats, one of whom uses the litter box with joyful abandon every chance she gets. These crystals not only keep the litter box cleaner than any other litter I've ever had, they also absorb all the moisture from feces, which cuts down on those litter box odours we all hate and make it a lot easier to clean out. My cats have used different types of litter but they love this one, and so do I. Because they are crystals they don't stick to paws and therefore don't tend to get tracked out of the litter box when the cats leave it. That means less mess for me to clean up. Because they absorb moisture so well these crystals can also be used for other purposes, such as absorbing humidity in the caravan over the winter, and for absorbing moisture when you've spilled something in the back of your car, etc. They're excellent and make my life a lot simpler (and cleaner). Worth the money!

I doubt there is any other cat litter on the market to equal this one. No smell, no tracking and long lasting. It may seem a little more expensive than some, but is well worth the extra outlay. I have a regular four-pack delivery on subscription which is certainly very convenient and brings the cost down too.I'd tried my two cats with wood based litter. The smell after use was very noticeable and there was a continual trail of 'sawdust' throughout the house. Clumping litter is out of the question..any residue ingested after licking paws can cause intestinal blockages..so I tried them with the litter crystals and have no complaints whatsoever. They have a very large litter tray and I empty a whole bag into it. It lasts about two weeks.Solid matter quickly dries out and can easily be removed. Liquid waste is absorbed and turns the white crystals yellow. It dries out too..you just need to shake the tray periodically to mix it up. When there is more yellow than white it is time to open a fresh bag and completely clean the tray. Don't be tempted to just top it up.

I have used Bob Martin's Cat Litter Crystals before and found them to be very good. What I like about them is that they are cleaner and seem more hygienic than other cat litter (there's definitely less mess and dust from these clear crystals than I have seen from other fibre or clumping products). They absorb the liquids (changing colour as they do so which also has the handy indication - when all the crystals have turned from clear to yellow - to indicate when the tray needs changing) and the crystals coat the "solids" to act as an odour-absorber. It may just be my opinion but they don't seem quite as effective at the latter job as previously and I do find myself removing the "solids" at least twice a day to try and minimise the odour whereas the litter tray once a week. Luckily, even with two cats, this item is a pack of four bags; which have lasted over a month for me so they are cost effective.I will continue to use them as I still believe that they are the best product on the market at this time.

We changed from using ordinary cat litter to using crystals, as a friend recommended them. These seem to do the job very well. We have one cat and one kitten and the kitten is still using the indoor loo, with attendant mess and smell. These crystals definitely help with the smell and the crystals dry the poo, so we can just sieve it out once or twice a day. Some people say they can get away with doing a full change every two weeks, but we find that once a week is best. By then most of the crystals have turned yellow, so perhaps theoretically you could get away with a second week, but we think it's better for the kitten that she has fresh crystals once a week.

I have two 3-months old kittens. I purchased this litter after checking the reviews and have mixed feelings about it.This is what I love:- No dust at all- Little tracking and it does not "fly away" too much (my kittens still use an open litter box and this is definitely much better tan the previous clumping -and flying- litter I used).- No smells, really.This is the BUT:- But it only lasts 4 days. I remove the "mummified" poo, but urine starts to accumulate down the bottom of the litter box with some finer liltter grains after 4 days, so the kittens simply start to reject the litter box on the 5th day. Therefore, the pack of 4 lasted 20 days and it took some cleaning the plants and the dog's bed, which the kittens decided to use as an alternative.Therefore I am sad to say I have got back to the clumping litter... pity.

Having used many brands of cat litter for years (not for me for my cats!!) this is the best as it locks the smells away and will last a week without the need to change although I suggest you take solids out if you understand what I mean. ideal for me being a wheelchair user as bending down is difficult my girls like it and as I said will last for a week without the need to change the whole litter tray. My girls are very happy with it. It has even impressed one of my cats who is very fussy and will go elsewhere if the cat litter isn't to her high standards she will use this litter quite happily :-)

It's a great cats litter, really light and doesnt smell at all. I would say -my favourite . The only thing is that, I cant agree on the statememt that it last for 4 weeks. No way it can last for 4 weeks. Unless you dont clean your cats toilet for 3 /4 days. It last for a week and a half.

Stupidly ordered these. The second time in a week that I have made this mistake of thinking the packet was the bigger packet size. So just stating the obvious - which is not clear in the way amazon displays all the products - that this is not the BIGGEST size
