Peanut Jones and the Twelve Portals: from the creator of Draw with Rob: 2 (Peanut Jones, 2)

My girls aged 10 and 8 tore through this book, along with the other two in the series… We remember Rob from Covid lockdown days as we did a lot of ‘draw with Rob’ pictures. So when my eldest found book one she was desperate to read it. She loved it (she’s a bookworm so she knows her books). We then purchased this second book and it didn’t disappoint, along with the third. She was so sad when she had finished the last one! She recommended them to her 8 year old sister and she is also now a massive fan of this series. We’ve given so many away as gifts! We will forever keep the books and re-read them as they just loved them so much. Please Rob, can you write some more for this age range? 🤞

I love this book because it is hilarious and I love the illustrations. My favourite character is Little Bit because she is so smart and I also like Rockwell because he is very sarcastic and funny.This book was so captivating I couldn't put it down for the whole holidays! I was so devastated when I finished the book and I couldn't wait to read the next one! The villain in the story (Mr White) is cunning and his plans gives the book a twist. So what happens is that Peanut goes back to Chroma and finds out that famous artworks are dissapearing and suspects that Mr White might be pulling the strings of this operation with his RAZER robots. That sets them of on a wild goose chase across the world through portals across Chroma and in famous cities. When they get back, the person who they think is Mr white has embarked Peanut's mum all the way to Milan and they think she could be in grave danger...

This was bought as xmas gift and is helping our grandson to read more, less gaming, result!

I received this book for free but this is my honest review. This is the second book my daughters have read by this author and they're were glued to it from start to finish. I would listen to them talking to each other about it then getting excited about what they think would happen next. They can't wait to read another book from this author.

The binding of the book is poor. Within 2-3 days, the pages of the book have begun to fall apart.

My 7.5 year old adores the Peanut Jones series and it’s been such a fantastic find for her. She can read at quite an advanced level so books targeted at her age can be a bit too easy for her and she finishes them too quickly. Books older are too teen/tween targeted and she’s got no interest in boyfriend drama and friends fighting. This story has everything she loves - mystery, art, suspense. She talks very animatedly about every character and is so deeply engrossed in the story. Great for avid readers, reading at bedtime or older readers who want a good story without being spoken down to.
