Fisher-Price Doodle Bear Violet

The toy itself is OK. Its a non-plush stuffed CareBear looking toy that comes with two double ended fabric markers of different colors and you can draw on the bear and wash it and draw on it again. It is fun for kids to share with their friends so they can draw and write messages on each others' bears. I have not washed it yet, so I don't know the durability of the bear. I know that I had one when I was in high school and my friends signed it after a theatrical production had come to an end... as a memento of the event. I still have it and the marker is still on it. I have to say that my daughter has gotten the ink on her hands and it does not easily come off. NOR did it wash out of her jeans that she marked on. So I would advise caution when wearing white or colors that will show the marker just in case it doesn't wash out. Overall, it is a decent toy.This is what is hip and cool among the 5-7 year old girl population at my daughter's school. No problem... except it is what she asked Santa for. They were nowhere to be found and I admittedly caved and purchased this one online for almost 3 times the retail price. My daughter is in love with it and Christmas was a success... but SHAME on the retailer that I bought it from for inflating the price. I chose to pay that price and I accept that, but still SHAME on the retailer...

My grand daughter wanted this for Christmas; being several miles away I ordered this toy from Kmart in November; it never showed at my other grand daughters grandmother's house. After calling, the courier could not find the house and it went back to Kmart and when I called they were sold out. What a panic, however I found this on amazon and it was sent out promptly and she got it just in time to be wrapped and put under the tree. She was so Happy when she unwrapped it, I saw her giggle with glee on Skype. So thank you Amazon for your dillegent and hard work!! Carol Esquibel Missionary to England

I bought this bear twice. I bought it once for a realtive for her birthday. After my daughter saw it, she decided she needed one too. Both girls love the bears and they love being able to color on toys. Our children are old enough to know not to write on other toys even though they can write on this one, so that doesn't seem to be an issue with us. They love being able to wash their bears. The bears come out just as clean as when we got them new.

My daughter has loved playing with her Doodle Bear. The only thing that I do not really enjoy about it is that you need to clean it within 48 hours of drawing on it, so I find myself cleaning the bear pretty frequently. The bear itself is very good quality and durable and keeps my daughter entertained.

Got this doodle bear for my 4 year old for Christmas since it was really the only thing she really wanted. She loves art and loves the color purple. She has fun with it, it's just kind of a pain cause you have to wash it after every time she colors it.

I had one of these when I was younger (and honestly still have it packed away in a trunk). When I saw the commercials I just had to get one for my little girl-and she LOVES it! Washes completely clean every time. Hours of fun for a junior artist!

My daughter loves it had requested for Christmas and I am happy, and has lots of small parts stikers so not for tots unemployment in the case of my daughter is perfect for her age (6 years) plus the truth found a very good price

I always wanted a Doodle Bear as a child, but never got one! I bought this for my niece and she absolutely adores it. Great purchase for a child who loves to write on things!
