2 Piece Cotton Washed Heavy Denim Sofa Slipcover, Blue

I have an ancient 25-30 year old sofa that came with a slipcover. I also had kids, cats and dogs which made the slipcover necessary for this wonderful couch that was fabulous to sleep on. Over the years had to replace the slipcover twice. Replaced the seat cushions with a single memory foam cot mattress, so this particular slipcover was perfect. It fit very well and is heavy duty. I reupholstered the original loose back cushions with nice material from online Fabric Guru. Cats started to claw at arm, so had some old denim that matched that I used to make arm coverings. Perfect! It's been washed a couple of time and is holding up well. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I give this sofa cover the highest rating! I am so impressed! I have an odd-shaped sofa and was concerned that this might not fit, but it had enough wiggle room to compensate for the adjustments that needed to be made. The cover is heavyweight denim and has buckles on the back fo the main cover that goes over the majority of the sofa and buckles in the back. The second cover goes over all of your seat cushions at once and also buckles underneath. Along with this cover, I bought the upholstery pins that twist into your sofa to hold the arm rest covers and head rest covers. I used the pins to secure the loose parts of the sofa in place so that the cover fits tightly. It took me a couple of hours to get it all fixed tightly and the way I wanted. It turned out really cute and goes beautifully with quilted pillows I recently made. We are so pleased that we are ready to buy another sofa cover and a chair cover to cover the rest of our living room furniture to match I know that I will have to cut some of it apart and sew it somewhat differently to work with a recliner sofa and a chaise sofa that is part of our unit but I truly believe it will be well worth it. When I want to wash or just toss the cover in the dryer, I can undo the pins and put them back when it's done. This product is well worth the price. I can see this lasting for at least 10 years in my house but probably longer. The denim is a medium denim blue and is somewhat subdued so it will blend in nicely with any room. We found that it is a good kind of neutral color for accessorizing. This would be great is a play room for children.

I have not had a couch in many years due to small living space, and I bought a house with a couch and room for it. A sleeper sofa from the 70's with a scratchy tweed cover, but still a good and solid couch, just ugly and scratchy. I needed something to make it look better and be comfortable. I did a lot of research on the best cover and read hundreds of reviews, and I am sure glad I did! This cover is heavy and great and fits perfectly! I like where the adjustments are located on the cover. It did have an indigo dye smell when I first got it, like new jeans might, and that disappeared after I aired it out opened outside for a day. (I have a very sensitive sense of smell, so others may not even notice this, as it wasn't overpowering or terrible.) I am very happy with this cover which stands up to heavy use from people and dogs. Thank you for helping me save my new to me, ugly old couch. :)

Update: After 7 years it got extremely sun-faded and stained, and a bit ripped by a dog who shall not be named. So I bought another one. Same nice looking product, but this time the chemical odor was overwhelming. What the heck makes it smell like that?? I put it through the washing machine (with detergent) and dryer twice. Still stunk too much to keep in the house, no less on a couch. Hung it outside for 3 weeks in the sun and rain, did regular smell checks, then machine washed and dried it again. It is finally okay to live with. In this update I removed one star for the stink. Don't get it unless you have a yard to hang it out in!***************Original reviewThis was a fantastic solution to the sofa dilemma. I had a 25 year old Jennifer convertible sofa/bed combo. The frame and stuffing were still in excellent condition. But the material that covered the couch was faded by sun, stained by kids, shredded by cats, ripped, just generally in awful condition. It was starting to look like something pulled out of a dumpster.I tried draping a blanket over it, but that looked kind of tacky. I looked into reupholstering, but it would have been as expensive as buying a new couch. I hated the idea of throwing it away since it was still completely functional, and very comfortable to boot. A well-made piece of furniture!So..you know the end of the story. I ordered this denim couch cover, thinking it probably wouldn't fit right but it was worth a try. Well, after a certain amount of tucking and tugging it really looks great! Every time I glance in the living room I think that I might have gone into a a fugue state and bought a new couch without my conscious mind knowing what I did. I especially like the cheerful blue color and the fact that it is not a magnet for animal hair like some other fabrics. And when it starts to fade it will still look good because, hey, faded jeans,height of fashion, am I right?

The one size fits all is actually pretty big for my sofa so don’t expect a nicely fitted coverFor me that’s no problem because all I want it is so my pup can’t scratch through it

We have 2 large hairy doggies. It doesn't make sense for us to have "nice" furniture in the family room where they lounge so we cover our older couch and loveseat with washable slipcovers. This is the first set we've had that seems to practically repel dog hair, the Surefit stretchy type (high quality as far as slipcovers go) that fit well seem to attract and embed the hair. This denim fabric is heavy (not stretchy) in a nice mid-blue wash. The seams are sturdy and the strap system for cinching the covers for a good fit works well. They're on our couch and loveseat for over 2 weeks now and have needed hardly any smoothing or adjustment to look neat, they stay put well. Simply brush the dog hair off and/or vacuum, easy peasy. LOVE THEM! Would buy again.

Had to return them. They were too big for our loveseat. We'll made and pretty, though.
