The easiest one cup of true coffee
The simplest time programable one cup ground coffee machine I have ever used. It has a small footprint and 3 volumes of water measuring, it gives a great tasting cup of coffee in a short period of time, great value for the money. Can drip after cup is removed but a small piece of kitchen roll under the cup solves that issue. Also is very easy to empty and clean. It seems a durable machine just right for me, being the only coffee drinker in my house and avoids having to clean the larger machines. Wake up to a travel mug of coffee that only needs the lid putting on.

Great little coffee maker just enough for one cup
This is a great little coffee maker just enough for one cupI have limited space and this is very compact fits easily into the spaceIt makes one cup of coffee very quickly I tend to put my milk into the microwave to warm at the same timeThe only issue I have is it does drip for a little time after it’s finished I just put a bit of kitchen towel under the cup before brewing I have still given 5 stars even with this small issueGreat value for money easy to use and clean and ideal for one person

Hassle free coffee
I usually make coffee using a French press but cleaning it up isn't my favourite job. This machine is a nice step-up from that and I'm impressed. It's easy to use and clean, and it produces piping hot coffee. It's also cheaper and more environmentally friendly than using coffee pods. It doesn't take up much workspace room either, so hooray for that.I deducted a star from the overall rating for two niggly reasons. The first is that it's hard to see where the maximum fill line is in the reservoir. The other is that it continues to drip for a while after it has finished pouring the coffee. Neither is a deal breaker but perhaps Salter might fix them for future versions of this machine.

Good temperature for perfect coffee easy to use and clean. One generous cup
You can trust Salter to produce quality goods at affordable prices and for this item they continue to do so. For a quick one cup with no fuss it's perfect. Cleaning the filter is a dream. Once its emptied just rinse and no stain, no blockage. The reservoir is a bit tricky as the back fill near the lid hinge is best overcome by using a small jug but as I'm arthritic it may be a subjective thing. The travel mug keeps the drink at perfect temperature and a broad band prevents burning your fingers. Excellent results and all round winner.

purchasd for new upgrade
after one of my previous more expensive espresso machines i accidently droped it while moveing it to clean under i was so gutted and pissed. with more priority bills to pay i could only get a small shaker coffee expresso machine for around £35. the small little machine is so good even though it is only 5 bar pressure it made a perfect coffee each time. The only issue i had some times was i am the only main coffee drinker in my home on some rare times my daughter would ask for a coffee and u can only make 2 cups max at each time so when i had family or friends over and only can do 2 at one time it i had to wait 30 mins for machine to call down as tank is attached to the machine and cant see the water level as built in so some friends had to either wait or buy costa on there way over. i decided to up grade my machine but loved my little salter machine i wanted a bigger machine but still on a budget of £100 i did not think i would fined a bigger machine in my low budget but i did and really love it i dont need to fill machine up with water on every time i use the coffee machine and the machine is very quick waiting for machine to heat up to useing milk frother my old machine would take 10 to 15mins from start to finish for a perfect coffee this machine only take 5 mins or less depending how many cups you are doing but mostly all my guest can sit down at same time to the perfect hot coffee. i am going to purchase anougter machine and store it away as i am an accident prone and just love dropping breakable items. thank you seller for quick deliver and hassle free. for anyone looking for a expresso machine but like myself who is on a budget or not this machine is perfect and want to make a perfect coffee each time then this machine is for you and one more detail i nearly forgot to put it in this review the milk froather you can contol the tempeture which over the years on previous machines you cant control your tempeture. thank you seller from happy coustomer and friends.

Ok but not perfect!
Ordered this in the spring sale and pleased I did not pay full price for it.Good things about it are that it does make a decent cup of coffee in a short time - I prefer the mokka pot but sometimes don’t have 11–12mins to wait for it! This machine takes 3-4mins. Another useful feature is the water markings in the water chamber so you can easily see which of the three sizes you are pouring and these are aligned with standard coffee cup sizing which is also helpful. The filter is easy to clean and it is pretty compact so ideal for a small kitchen. My biggest annoyance with it is the dripping and splashing! It continues to drip for a very long time after the coffee is made so requires a piece of kitchen roll in the base to drip on. It also seems to splash a lot when making the drink, regardless of mug size so always needs a wipe over the kitchen surface after it has finished.

Compact and doesn't take up much room
Really impressed with this, I read the reviews and although mostly positive some say it can splatter a bit if using a smaller cup or drips afterwards a little. I filled a cup up with water that I was going to use and filled the reservoir. Added 12g of coffee and used the travel cup that comes with it. Didn't take long at all to heat the water and start coming through. Poured coffee from travel mug into cup and put travel mug back underneath to catch any residual drips. To be honest there wasn't really any. The instructions do say to leave cup underneath for a minute or so incase of any drips. So far I've got no complaints at all. Great little machine. I was going to buy a small drip tray for it I found on amazon but there really is no need. If you are really that concerned because you are in a rush and want to use the travel mug to take to work then just put a small dish like ramekin underneath once you are done.
