Excellent! I have had a few of these tennis racket style electric bug zappers over the years, they all seem to work okay, until the batteries got low. Then it appeared that many of the fruit flies and flies I was zapping were simply just stunned for a while, and got back up to annoy me again! So I opted to get this one because it has 4,000 volts, and is rechargeable, so no draining battery issues, it even has indicator lights to let you know when it's getting low and needs a recharge! Plus, you can put it on the full on mode so you don't have to hold the button down and really go to town on those pesky bugs! It sounds like a machine gun when it hits a bunch of them, a little loud but worth the noise - kills bugs dead! I haven't tried leaving it running in the stand as yet, but I do think that would work on mosquitoes. It looks sharp, made with quality, lightweight and easy to wield, the purple light is very cool looking. It's better made than the inferior ones I had before, don't cheap out just to save a few bucks, spend the extra money and get this one, you won't be disappointed! I should know that only a couple of bugs survive the electric screen, it seems some fruit flies are so small they can pass right through unscathed, but it's pretty rare. The kill ratio is very high with this one!

Best mosquito zapper we've tried! I'm coming back to buy this a 3rd time because it works so well. We use is inside the house and the bugs have liked this one the best. It tends to keep the charge well and has worked better than any bug zapping lantern or other zapping fly swatter that we've used.The first one died after a year or two of used because it just refused to charge. Trust me though, it got used every night for summer!Note that the zap when a bug dies is LOUD, it wakes me up. We try to turn it on (with all the lights on) before we are going to sleep.

Giving one less star because mosquito bounced of of it in couple of instances even with the power on. Otherwise it does the job pretty well

I don't write reviews that often, but this mosquito swatter is a beast. Definitely not for the faint of heart! Mosquito's in Cali are smaller than ever, you can't hear them or see them attacking you---total stealth skunk works. If you leave this thing on in the middle of the night, the zap is shocking and it will wake you up! However, you can go back to sleep with the comfort of knowing this thing did it's job. If you accidently touch the screen, you'll be shaken but not stirred, lol. I take it outside when I'm working on my truck and put it on the ground to protect my ankles. The feature I enjoy the most are the three settings: off; button activation; and always on-which is where I leave it. I have three of them. If they only made a wider desktop/window version... Cheers!

We were having a fruit fly issue, and this was too much fun to help eliminate. It is easily rechargeable and comes with a stand to prop it in. The charge lasts forever . It was cheap and affordable. But made well. I would recommend. Plus it’s easy to use.

This thing is great. I would ignore any bad reviews. I have a hanging zapper, and this thing is right there with the power. If I had one thing to say negatively, the light could be larger, brighter. It’s not a problem though and still works perfectly. As a positive to the light being a little dimmer, it can be run at night without affecting sleep, and still works great. Really good product 👍👍

It's does it job it kills flies and mosquitoes but be careful leaving this on if a big fly get caught in the net of the swatter and hits the plastic that light up it will burn up and probably catch on fire

This has been a real sanity-saver for me. The irrigation in my community has gone to heck and there is a big mosquito problem, and since this racket came to me I get bit once a day at most. It's so satisfying to fry the little monsters! It goes into the office in the morning, into the living room in the evenings, and onto the nightstand at bedtime. Super portable.
