Do the job, but the handle is a little short.
Decent quality for a low-cost torque wrench. I hope it lasts a while? Handle is a little bit short.So I will probably use it in my travel tools.It’s not top shelf quality. But neither is the pricing.

Decent torque wrench
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It did what I needed for a decent price. It is different to adjust, it has a splined slider at the top versus what I'm used to (the locking nut at the bottom). And the higher you go the harder it is to twist, I attached a deep socket and used that as additional leverage while getting it set to 230 ft lbs. I'd buy it again, if that makes a difference of opinion.

1/4-inch drive does not torque left-hand threads
I purchased this specific 1/4-inch drive torque wrench because the images show it works for left-hand threaded bolts. I needed to torque a left-hand screw on my pool pump impeller and assumed it would work based on the description (it does not specifically say the 1/4" drive doesn't torque in reverse) and the images. After receiving the wrench, I tried it in reverse (that is, for left-handed threads) and it didn't click. Even set the torque to zero (0) at the bottom of the scale and no luck. It torqued fine for tightening, but not for loosening (aka left-handed). Looked at instructions to verify and sure enough, it says it doesn't torque in reverse.I'm keeping the unit anyway because it is very easy to read. My current 1/4 drive torque wrench is chrome and the number scale blends in so it's very difficult to read. This one will be my primary and the chrome one will be used in my RV garage.
