The Saber is beautiful, if you can get the box open. It took 3 of us to wedge it open. It is supposed to be a display box so I am returning it for that reason.

This saber works perfectly for its intended use: lopping the top of a bottle of champagne. It has been used for that several times and has always performed without any issues. The build quality is decent, with the scales of the handle firmly in place, and the blade finished off nicely. The etching on the blade looks a little cheap, but also doesn't seem to be too deep, so may polished off if desired. Also, the bee detail on the handle is rather roughly done, but overall, the quality is as good or better than one would expect for the price, it arrived quickly and exactly as pictured, and it fulfills its function admirably.

The media could not be loaded. You can Saber a bottle of champagne with a butter knife, but why do that when you can do it in style with this Saber. Highly recommend.

Saver itself was fine. The box and container it came in was broken, missing pieces, completely unusable for what it was intended. Disappointed in product overall.
