Used to insulate under Kitchen Cabinets
I have placed sheets of this material directly onto a poured concrete floor pad, underneath our kitchen cabinet behind the kick boards, where there was no flooring laid. We had been experiencing cold droughts coming out from the kick boards which in the dead of winter significant lowered the temperature in this area of the room. We live in a new build and this is the first time we had popped off the boards to have a look, initially, for any poorly sealed areas that could be letting in droughts. We did find a potential single point of air entry from a pipe making it's way outdoors. Around the pipe was not adequately sealed so we used an expanding foam to fill the gap. This could have been all that was needed but as a secondary precaution we decided to add this water resistant insulation in sheets to the floor space. As it is non absorbent we felt it was safe to add this to the area underneath the sink. It;s generally not advised to add insulation there as if you had a water leak the insulation could absorb the water delaying the discovery. We cut the sheets longer than the measured floor depth so we could turn the sheet upwards and tuck up behind the cabinets. We taped the sheet seems together at their overlap. We than reposition the kick boards. This work has made a significant difference to the temperature in that area. It now measures the same as the other side of the room. The product is very easy to work with and is cut with standard pair of scissors. I think this is a very multi use product.

Good stuff and easy to use
I was quoted nearly £500 to insulate the underside of our caravan, so I bought 6 rolls of this instead and did it myself. It's strong stuff, really easy to fit with a staple gun and it cuts with a Stanley knife really well. The only problem I had is the glue that stops it unrolling, it's so strong it rips the insulation. This is *NOT* coated with adhesive.

Highly versatile, effective and easy to use insulation for many purposes
I have previously used this for insulating campervans, finding it pliable, easy to use and effective. On this order I've used it for blocking the sun on Velux windows during the UK summer 2018 heatwave. The official thermal Velux blinds cost a fortune so I've cut sheets from the roll to match the window size and slotted it behind venetian blinds (or it could be held in place with gaffer tape). The difference has been noticeable instantly with cooler rooms in our attic conversion. In the winter when we have the opposite problem with freezing cold rooms, the panels will be slid into place again for thermal insulation at a very low price. It makes a good blackout blind too. Worth every penny.

Fab item
I used this to insilate my piggies cage for the winter and its fab. Easy to use. I simply stapled it on to the frame, even cut sections to cover the door to his bed so I can still clean it with ease. Then popped his waterproof cover back over the top. The cage is cozy inside. No drafts and he seems warm and happy.
